Is there a drop down/hinging rear bumper addition available to protect the rear trunk in the event of getting a push? Want to be able to still access the rear trunk, but want to protect it at the same time.

Okay so here’s the deal. I changed my oil like usual. Filled with new oil in the "sweet spot" on the dip stick. Dead center of it.

Run the machine for 5 minutes in the garage to make sure it cycles through. Re check it. Looks normal.

Then I go out for the weekend riding it on and off for 3 days. I check the oil level and its almost full?! Oil looks clean. But somehow it magically added oil to itself. I just rode it and it ran fine but I certainly don’t think that’s normal.

Not sure what to make of it….any ideas?:th_smiliepullhair:

Hi guys,I just bought some wheel spacers for my 15 outlander max xt,they bolt on to the bike but the wheels won’t go on them,the eBay add I got them from says 4- 137 bolt pattern , but only up to a 2014,everything I’ve found says the 2015s are the same , true? , I think they were made a little off , I’m 500 miles from home or I could measure them , the guy I got them from is being a Richard if you know what I mean

2012 outlander 800 1500 miles.
Anyone ever hear of engine mounts so bad that wrecks the front drive shaft??

Or is this just a one off??

I just purchased a new set of wheels/tires for my 2014 Max XT 1000 and am contemplating selling my stock ones. They would come complete with lugs. The wheels are in GREAT shape and the tires have about 900 miles on…..about half of that is riding in sand with a hundred or so of road. They all hold air and have no plugs/patches and no vibration.

What is the going price for these? Was thinking about $500….?

So I have ran into a problem and i think i know what it is but i want to hear what other people think. So i was in a mud hole when my Can-Am stalled out. After digging into it a found that i had water on top of the pistons. Removed the water. I also found out that i had water in my crank case and in the oil. Drained the oil removed the water on the cylinder head and put new oil back into the motor. Now the atv cranks just fine no problems. Drove it around for 30min or so and didn’t seam to bog down and felt like it had as much power as it did the day i bought it. Heres the problem. After riding around for 30min i turned the atv off and then tried to re-crank the motor and couldn’t get it to turn the motor over. Hooked a truck battery up to it and it cranked up. I checked the battery while trying to crank it and it held 12v so the battery isn’t bad. If i let the motor cool off completely then i can restart the atv with the original battery. I also changed the oil twice after finding water in the crank. No metal shavings or anything unusual found in the oil.

I think the starter got water in it and is failing on me. Someone else told me the crank bearings were going bad. Hard to believe because there isn’t any vibrations or knocks.
