Need some help/advice

First off I’ve never owned or ridden a Can Am, but after all the reviews and research, I’m in the market for one. I was going to buy a 2016 570l xmr, but just found a great deal on a 2014 1000xtp. It has 35hrs and 400 miles on it. Just looking for some advice on the 1000xtp’s in general and if that mileage should be a concern, I don’t think it should be, or if there other concerns I should have.
Thanks in advance!

Dealership Question

It seems like every time I take in my 2012 800XT to the dealer I see an ATV I would like to have. The trip this week was the 850 XMR and I almost traded. Does anybody else have this issue?:thumbsmilie:

Warn Plow mount Pics needed Please.

I have 2 plows that could be used on my 2015 outlander. A warn center mount and a Warn provantage front mount. they both came from past ATVs and I dont have mounting plates fro them. I own a 2015 Outlander 800xt and the wife has a 2013 Polaris 850xp.
I am going to mount one plow on each machine and cant decide if I want the front mount on my atv or hers.
I liked the center mount on my Grizzly. It plowed nicely and never dug in hard, but I hated laying on my back to install it.. on the flip side I dont want a mounting system that hangs down far in the front and take away ground clearance. The wifes 850xp has more clearance and the front mount wouldnt affect it much. But.. she rarely plows the driveway and Im thinking I would like the front mount warn on mine.
I really need to see what the front mount looks like on an Outty to be able to make my decision.. thanks..

I would just put it on the wifes and plow with hers, but have you ever plowed with a Polaris ?? No ?… well you dont want to.. no 4×4 untill you spin, means no turning ability unless you juice the gas.. Its really nasty.

xtp vs xxc?

Will a outlander xtp ride and corner simular to a rennyxxc since they both have the same fox shocks? Trying to decide Wichita one I want. Anyone that has rode them both please give me some detailed incite. Also does either one of them have a sway bar?

Observation after putting 370+ miles on my 1000 Max with the new ITP/HTR setup…

The new 14" ITP SS212 and Bearclaw HTR combo (26x11x14 & 26x9x14) seem to weigh ~10lbs more EACH than the stock 12" wheel and ACT tires. I didn’t know how much of a difference it would make in regards to robbing HP and dropping my top end speed. After putting some miles on this weekend I can say it’s a noticeable difference, especially in soft sand. I can almost feel the wider/heavier tires holding back the ATV in soft sand. I love everything about the new combo, BUT I don’t like how they rob HP. The wheels are only a couple lbs over the stock wheels, but the tires are way heavier than the ACT’s. I know they are an 8 ply tire and that’s why. I keep telling myself pretty much any decent tire will weigh more than the ACT’s, so once those wear out I’d be in the same situation…but with stock wheels.
