So I have a 14 1000 with a muzzy slip on and the canam snorkel kit. I’ve noticed that the side of the engine gets hot and the fan is constantly kicking on. Would the digi be a good investment? Also does it come with a modified fuel map?

Good day all,
First time post here. I am about a day or so from gettign a new 2015 can am 800 xt max…
Had a dealer give me an out the door price of 11K then said that was for AUG and now the price is 11300. They are about 5 hours from my house and the local dealer gave me a price of 11600 OTD (not sure round trip 10 plus hours is worth 200-300 bucks if you factor in gas) .. Just curious if this is a good price? I know its under MSRP but 2016 are gonna have different engine as such.
Also what do you think about Can-am extended warranty or aftermarket?
There’s been a few reviews on this already, but figured I would do a quick review for anyone that’s still on the fence.
Junk is the only word I can use to describe it.
Paid $260 for it, and was surprised to see that I needed to get a rivet tool since BRP didn’t think it was necessary to attach the linq locks to the box using the supplied rivets.
The rivets it came with don’t fit, tried every which way but no luck.
Managed to get them on with some nuts and bolts I got from a hardware store.
I made the mistake of trusting the factory marked starter holes to attach the aluminum hook that holds the back of the box down, silly me… why would I think a $260 box would have the marks in the right place?
At this point I got frustrated and threw the box in the back of my truck. :th_smiliefrustrated
I read another review on here questioning the "weather stripping"
So I sprayed it lightly with my hose to see if it was water resistant, and surprise surprise!
the inside was wet.
TLDR- Trunk is garbage, I wouldn’t pay $50 let alone the outrageous dealer price.

Hey guys, just bought my first Can Am after coming out of a couple of Polaris Sportsmans. When I sold my Sportsman 850 the guy didn’t want the plow with it. I’ve looked around and have found a few people discussing it at a high level but never any detail.
Has anyone successfully mounted a Polaris plow on their Outlander? I’d rather keep the plow rather than taking the hit to sell it and buy a new one.
