Front Master cylinder leaking

I noticed my master cylinder leaking brake fluid . The screws were not overly tight , so I tightened them but it still leaked. so I took the cap off and the rubber diaphragm seemed folded up like an accordian, so I took it out and put it in the normal position. now when adding brake fluid do you take the rubber diaphragm out to fill it ., then put the diaphragm back in and tighten it down. not sure why the diaphragm ended up distorted like that. I have never touched it otherwise, only the dealer.

Can am max XT rear handles

I have a 2010 650 xt not a max model, but I would like to add the max rear grab bar to mine so I have something to hold on to, well I wiggle it out of the mud.
1 – does it fit on the single model rack?
2- does it fit with the factory BRP box?
3- and if it fits what is the part number.

proof of ownership

recently had a 2013 outlander 500 given to a friend from his father that was on the property that he purchased thru a sheriff sale. Vin check shows its not stolen or lein against it. How would they go about obtaining paperwork if previous owner is deceased or unable to be located? so they can get a key programmed to start the atv

800 CVT filter keeps plugging up

It doesn’t take long for my CVT filter to get plugged up like this. I’m having thoughts of just taking it off, from what I’ve heard, the 500 and 650 don’t have this filter, so really, what would it hurt? But I like having the idea of not running all this crap through my CVT, but sometimes I wonder if I’m doing more harm by blocking the airflow in overheating the CVT. I try to keep it clean, but. Thoughts?
