I’m having to order a new handle bar along with grips. How hard is it to install the handle bar grips?? I tried pulling one off what I have now and it might as well have been glued on.
Hey guys
Planning on picking up a cv tech primary clutch for my 650 outlander. Using stock secondary. The bike is all stock except for 28" zillas, 10 wide all around. Just wondering what some of you are running for springs and weights in your clutches. I do a lot of slow trails and hauling a trailer but still go on the bigger roads. Looking for a good set up for this. Thanks anyone for your help.
Cheers
I am in the market for a new quad and after riding polaris’s for 20 years, I think I want something different.
I really am impressed with the look of the Can-Am’s, specifically the above model. I hear the power is impressive too.
I tend to keep quads for a long time, 7-10 years. So I am looking for any info on common problems, things that seem to wear out faster than they should and any abnormal extra maintenance required?
How well does the visco lock frt diff work? My last few rides have had overheating Can-Am’s, is this common? They were older and may have had some mud in the rads, but no more than any other quad on the ride. Probably a coincidence but thought I would ask.
Just trying to do my homework and be prepared.
Thanks
Hi, I am looking at buying a 2009 800 xt. it has about 2000 miles on it but looks to be in great shape. Is there any common problems with the 09`s that I should be aware of? I have owned other quads before but never a Can Am. Thx for the feedback!!
Hey I have an 07 outlander 800. When I turn the key to start it it says "hi Steve". This is the old owners name. How do I reset it to say something else? Is there any other programming options while I’m in there? Thanks in advance

Well yesterday I got a a screaming deal on a 2006 outty with 4780 miles on it. FREE! Well anyway, the previous owener gave it to me since it supposedly needed a motor. Put a battery in it started it up and drove it around. About 10 mins into driving it engine light came on for low oil. Stopped it immediately, pushed it to my garage and checked the oil, which was fine. Pulled the oil sensor and tested the pressure after it cooled off, it was between 25-30 at idle and up to 50 at 3/4 throttle at idle. started to drive again and after another 5 mins light came on. Checked pressure again and it was at 0 going to 10 at full rev. Put new sensor in and did nothing. Motor makes no noises and no metal in oil. Pulled pto side cover to see if the teeth were stripped and they were not. Could the regulator spring have broken and cause this? Or is the oil pump bad?
