Missfiring Steep Hills backing up

Hi, glad to join you all.
just bought a Can Am Otlander 450 Max with 5 hours on it. Today i had to back up on a steep hill with a passenger on board and the engine started to misfire. I did the reverse operation on level groun and was ok. The tank was almost full. Later, i tried the same steep hill backing up alone and misfired again.
What could be? Regards,

2014 Outlander XT 650 Blown Fuel Pump Fuse –

Great ride yesterday in the heat. Smelled a bit of gas at a few stops but no visible leaks.
Stopped for a break to talk to a hunter on the trail and it would not restart.
Got a tow home because we were about 100 m from an active and very popular bear bait. Not the place for field troubleshooting trust me, but that’s another story.
🙁
The 5A fuel pump fuse is blown – replaced and going again but have not gone for a ride yet.
Ideas ?
Things to check.
I can’t imagine why it blew the thing ran like a top all day but there is a fuel smell – the day was very hot, about 29 degrees and there was a mix of fast and then very slow riding – fan was on a lot.
Still have warranty but not sure if I should take it to the dealer yet.
