I have been searching the forum trying to answer this question. I have read about the polarity being an issue. It was something I didn’t even know about. I was unable to find a definitive answer. Perhaps my search terms were poorly chosen. Also some of the threads were old, so there could have been changes in technology since.
Ideally I would like to replace the bulb and not the whole assembly but anyone’s experiences and thoughts would be most welcome.

WOW!!! So I just ordered some race driven pads for it. Seems a lot of guys on here use them.
