The key is in the Sorbothane isolators from Isolate It! Vibration Damping products
I got them on Amazon.

A quick test ride and the results are fantastic.
My brother and I will be heading to Windrock in TN for the Fall Jamboree. I hope to get some good video.

Could use some buying recommendations!!! Owners please help!
I am new to this forum, new to Can Am period. After doing research online and what my purpose is going to be, I have decided on buying a Outty Max XT. I have been searching every means possible for a used one that isn’t snorkels and I found 2. I also went to a dealer to ensure thats what the wife and I wanted, however; I was presented a third option which is why I come to ya’ll. thanks in advance.
Option 1-2013 Outty Max XT with under 50 hours and under 500 miles. It comes with a full aluminum skid plate(front, center, rear) and a Linq 32 gallon enclose in the rear. It also comes with 13 months of the BRP remaining warrantee. The owner is selling due to a family addition that restricts riding. Seller provide pictures of where header meets exhaust and it looks clean (not covered in mud, no heat stains from water hitting it either), owner admitted to taking it on 3 rides to WV with wife. After asking to go to a Can Am dealer to hook to BUD system, he again reassured it was babies but still would prior to sale. Price 8K
Option 2-2014 Outty Max XT with under 60 hours and under 700 miles. It comes with the ricochet covers for what seems like suspension boots and a slip on HMF exhaust. It has 26 months of remaining warrantee. Owner seems to be selling because him and girlfriend don’t have time and personally I think the payment was over what he wanted since he put it on a promotional credit card and rate skyrocketed. He sent me pictures of header meeting exhaust, it had some mud on it that looked just like trail riding, but wasn’t that bad. Also when asked if he would meet at a Can Am dealer to hook to BUD system and explaining what it would tell me, he admitted to doing 70mph a couple times just to see what it would do. Price 8k
Option 3-Brand new 2014 Outty Max XT 1000. It is a leftover to the leftover. Price 11.5K or 11.7k w 2 years BRP.
Keep in mind I might be able to get a 3.9% loan on new…if not its 8.9% on used. With that being said is it worth the extra $40-$50 month to get new and have the 1000. I am military, the wife is a teacher so money isn’t tight, but isn’t loose either. The used ones will take a day for me to drive to get.
L450…first major problem!!!!
I phoned the selling agent from out in the middle of the paddock, about 3km from home and started getting angry with him and telling him what a heap of unreliable rubbish he had sold me. Even more bad words when he told me I would have to bring the machine back to him at his workshop which is 100km away.
As a parting comment he said "have you checked the kill switch?". Well, what do you know? It was switched to the great big "X"!!!!! Very apologetic I was! Eating the "humble pie" as the saying goes.
Lessons to be learned?
1. Stay calm and think through the problem. Don’t get angry!!!!
2. The kill switch doesn’t just stop the engine! It cuts power to the whole system.
Well, I think I have learned the second one but the first may need some self control.
btw….have any of you more experienced riders actually used the kill switch in an emergency. This is the second time in 20 years riding that I have accidentally hit that switch. I am wondering how necessary it is?
Quick question about the Can-Am soft cargo bag
Dalton clutch kit
I did a whole bunch of things at once so it’s hard to tell what I gained where. I did the 09 intake mod, muzzy full exhaust, muzzy digituner, one way bearing upgrade, synthetic fluids everywhere, Elka stage 3 shocks, full skids, Hayden fan mod, engine ice, etc.
The quad runs awesome after all this stuff. Feels like a lot more power. No dead spots or backfiring so I think out of the box the tuner and exhaust are gtg.
My question is that it seems like everyone who does the dalton or epi clutch kit has crazy low end and wheelie power. My outlander won’t wheelie for shit. It’s not spinning tires either. The power delivery feels very smooth and the quad it quick. Defienitly no wheelie power whatsoever in high gear. It maxes out around 60-64 mph as well.
I have 27" itp mud tires (not lites) on it. I clutched to daltons specs (no weights, it was setup for the bigger heavier tires as recommended). Is this normal? Thanks in advance
Btw I came from at least 8 quads in my life. Even my brute force 750 was a wheelie machine…
