Can someone give me the part number for…
From everything I’ve read, it sounds like RBL bearings are the best way to go when replacing OEM.?.? Is that correct???
Does anyone know of a good source for ordering??? I guess I’ll be needing some isoflex too. Thank you!
My gun rack set up on Outlander
My racks have a 3/8 stud on them so I headed off to Lowes to find a 3/8 shackle or long nut. Used a 1" copper plated water pipe hanger (couldn’t find any other color so copper it is) to squash the shackle against the Linq block. As you see in the pic one half of the hanger is tapped for a bolt, I figured if the shackle slides up and down I would but a bolt in the hole for a set screw and just run a self tapper in the other half for a set screw but the shackle is so tight I don’t feel it’s needed.
Racks do shake just a tad side to side with nothing in them but once a rifle is set in them they ride just fine.
plowing snow question
Do any of you have a 400 that you plow with? I’m trying to decide if I want to put the plow set up on the Outlander or my wifes "tractor" (a 2002 Suzuki King Quad 300). I call it the tractor because its built like a tank. I’m thinking the diff lock and super low range might be a small advantage for plowing. I’m also thinking she doesn’t see as much trail time as I do so the plow carriage might see less abuse in the bush. The manual shift and shaft drive might hold up better than the belt but it’s going to be a bunch of shifting.
The Auto on the Outlander would be nice for plowing. The added ground clearance of the Outlander would be a advantage too. The Outlander sees a lot more trail time and mud so the plow carrage is going to get beat and might hang up the bike in the woods,
I have a big area to plow. 2 driveways. I have four lots and my house and garage are on opposite corners. I also live on a dead end road with a dead end Alie to my garage. Both are about an 1/8 mile long. I live in the country so if it snows on Friday night or Saturday morning, we wont see a snow plow until some time Monday. I plow a lot!
What are your thoughts?

Fan quit working on xmr
I have a 2014 1000 xmr on the last ride the fan wouldn’t come on when it should. I have it wired to the ignition with a switch so I can work it manually. But I would like to get it fixed. I have changed relays, checked fuses, wiring, etc. Nothing, any help would be appreciated.
