Radiator inlet on G2L

Im preparing myseft for a hayden install on my wife outlander L 500

From the hose routing of the G2 L vs my G 1 the radiator inlet would be on the left side sitting on the quad

Can anyone confirm if im ok

Also, on the fan theirs a bleu/white wire and a black one, my guess would be black is ground but im not sure

On my G1 i have take the 12v/ground on the cigarette outlet, can i do the same thing on the g2l???

Terra 35 for Outlander L Max

Hi, I’m looking at putting a winch on my outlander l max. I’ve read on here the superwinch terra 35 is a decent winch. I already have the mounting plate built into the frame from what i’ve read so will I need anything besides the winch?

Thanks for help.

PS: Any lessons learned before I attempt this would be great!

Thanks!

2015 Outlander Max XT 1000 shock adjustment.

Can anyone post or send me a link on adjusting factory shocks on my Outlander? I’ve done some Google searching which produced some results but I’m just not sure as the info is a few years old. I guess I don’t really know what shocks I have on the ATV.

With the wife and I on the ATV I’m getting some tire scrubbing when I come off a rise in the trail. I’m sure the ATV isn’t set up for a 300 lbs guy and his 170 lbs wife.

Thanks Jim S.

HARD SHIFTING: Solved by CanAm washers 417300265

I’ve CUT and PASTED this useful TIP from SHORTY54 out of a LONG OLD Hard Shifting Thread to make it easier to Search for and FIND the Part Number.

When I picked up my 14 MAX 800 brand new from the dealer, it was impossible to shift. They said it was normal and needed to brake in. I brought it home and removed the driven clutch.

I installed 2 of 417300265 between the driven pulley cam and driven pulley shaft. Shifts perfeclty now.
I even had the salesman drive it again, he couldnt belive it shifted so nice. I did the same to my 07 800, problem solved. That was just mine though, not saying it will fix yours or anyone elses. It would be worth a try though for $1.99. I used one shim on my 07 and 2 on my 14. .. Shorty54

RBL vs VBX???

Please forgive my ignorance if this has been beaten to death but everything I read on here points to using RBL bearings when replacing the oneway. That being said, I cannot find RBL bearing available here in the US. I have found VBX’s and RBI’s…but no RBL’s. Are the RBL’s better than the VBX’s??? Or, is one as good as the other???

I need to order some bearings and get my bike fixed but I’d like to do it right. Thanks!

Oh…and the local Can-Am dealership wants $50 a piece for the OEM bearings which are giving me problems at 100 hours…so I really don’t want to go that route. Thanks again!
