Dalton Clutch Spring question

I have a 2015 650xt and about to put 28" tires on it. Should I get a clutch kit? If so, could I get away with just a Dalton green/yellow primary spring or does the whole 650dbo kit with the weights make that much more of a difference? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

New shoes on 570L

Just got my 27×10/12 Zillas put on this morning and took it for a quick spin. Overall I’m happy with them. Didn’t go to extreme yet but it crawled all the mud holes and hills I hit in 2wd.

Got a new bike to ride

Well a good deal came along so I decided to upgrade my 07 650 Can Am. Picked up a barely used 2014 Can Am Magnesium 800. Only 25 miles on it and 2.5 years warranty on it yet. I hope it lasts even better then my last one. Only concern is I’ve heard of guys having problems with rear diffs so hopefully I’m not one of them. Going to keep a close eye on it anyways and see. They seem to go within the first couple hundred miles so it should still be on warranty if it does decide to go out. Better not though, 20,000 kms on my old one and it’s never given me any problems in that area. Fuel pump and Cam chains it did though. Got it in the shop and going to do my own pdi on it maybe tomorrow so I know it’s all good and can learn a bit about it. Some big differences in some areas. Especially plastic panels. Didn’t get a pic of it before it was loaded as the dealer drove it up for me but grabed a quick picture as I was tying it down.

installing skid plates

Anything specific I should be aware of? Is it pretty much straight forward or should I expect a trick or two to help. I read about winching the machine vertical. I’m not sure I can do that. I do have an engine hoist but I’m not sure of the capacity. Also if I can hoist it up how do you prevent it from accidentally coming down? On a car I use jacks but on this I’m stumped.
Thanks,

Fairing / Windshield Yellow or Black G2 outlander

I have a Yellow 2015 Outlander 800xt and will be buying a Canam Deluxe windshield for it in the next week. I am torn on whether to get the Yellow or the black.
-The Black would be an easier sell as a used piece later on, as it kinds matches all the colors.
-The current handlebar area is all black so a black fairing wouldn’t look bad.

However..

-The Yellow fairing color matches my ATV.

Price is the same..

Help me decide.

Anyone have any pics of a Black Fairing on a Yellow machine?

Thanks.
