“Check DPS” when riding in wet conditions…

Hey Guys I have been looking for a solution to my problem in some older threads but no success for my situation so here it goes… My check DPS warning comes on every once and a while when riding it wet mud or water… Never happened yet while staying dry. I read two things that may be the issue… (1) Speed Sensor- needs cleaned. And (2) there are some connections getting wet. I plan to clean my sensor when I change my transmission fluid soon. So what are these connections that I need to look for and how are u guys keeping them dry/waterproof and are there any other things I need to be looking at… Thanks!

Outlander LINQ fuel can

Well since oddly enough can-am doesn’t make a Linq fuel can for the quads I decided to make something that will work for the ski-doo linq fuel can, in the summer I go for long trail rides and having the peace of mind of having spare fuel that is secured properly is nice to have.
Purchased right from a brp dealer the skidoo linq fuel can and the brp linq replacement latches, both together ended up costing $150cdn, Ya its a little expensive for a spare fuel can but the fast easy removal with no straps or bungee cords to let go is well worth it.
The entire can and brackets literally removes in seconds.

Front tie rod clearance question

I just bought a used 08 650xt.

It had the stock tires all the way around. 26x8x12 in the front.

I bought and mounted big horn 2.0s at 1 inch wider 26x9x12 and now the tie rods are really close to touching. They aren’t touching but they’re about a quarter inch from the tires…

Is that enough space? It just has me a little worried and I saw a pair of wheel spacers is $70 :th_smiliefrustrated .

Will I be ok or should I try spacers or washers or something? Thanks men!

First ride and all I can say is, It doesnt suck!!!

2015 Outlander 800 xt. Completely stock and I really like this machine. Took it through some swampy wooded areas, a few water/mud crossings. Nothing too deep, maybe 8" above the foot rest. The only thing Im a little disappointed with is the brushed aluminum finish. Seems like its not that durable, a few branches rubbed across the fenders and now I have black scratches showing. but hey, no big deal. Completely happy with the power this thing makes too.

Break-In Speed Limiter

Was out breaking in the the new 1000 XTP yesterday and ran into a 45mph speed limiter with the black key. Tried they gray key thinking they might have switched them up but same result so I wasn’t sure if this was something they changed in 2015.

If they need to reprogram a new key do I have to bring the whole quad in?
