Good morning. I just finished installing a brand new carb on my 2005 Outlander 400 max 4×4. My question is where do the two small rubber hoses go that come pre-attached to the carb, are these just vent lines? Anyone have a photo?
I have a 2004(?) 330(?) Outlander 2WD here with a similar(possibly the same?) carb and it appears that the longer of the two lines is routed towards the back of the drive belt housing and points at the ground whereas the original hose on my 400 went to the front of the machine.
I have a question… Do they make an aftermarket back passenger seat for a 2009 Can-Am Outlander 400 EFI? Looking for one with a backrest for my wife when she tags along.
Hello I am new here and I’m not sure if this is the place to ask a question, but I have a 03 outlander and I want to know if 25x10x12 tires fit the front stock wheels with out rubbing and the use of spacers. I want to run 4 mud lites all around
I have an outlander 500 Iam looking at installing an hid light kit. Super atv has a kit for 100 bucks. That is for the slim ballast and 5k bulbs. Are these worth a shit and if so where is a good place to mount the ballasts?
I just traded for a 2004 Can Am Outlander 400cc 4×4 for my banshee. It was a good deal because the only problem with the can am was that the carb was off and needed to be installed back on. I traded with the guy and installed the carb but it will still NOT start. All lights work, spark plug has spark, and the ATV it will crank but will never start. I looked through and found that the gas from the tank is not making it up the fuel pump. After I replaced the fuel pump, it still won’t crank and gas still isn’t going to the pump. I ran gas through the carb itself too try and fire it up but no luck…
The guy said it sat for awhile so i already cleaned the carb. Could it be the old gas? I already replaced the fuel tubbing and I don’t see how the old gas would affect it moving through tubes. Should I try putting in new gas?
I have a ’11 XMR 800 with an Airdam CV Tech clutch. Went riding the other day and after about a mile on a flat graded trail I suddenly went from tons of power to no power and not being able to get the machine above 20mph. If I got it up to about 22mph I started hearing some noise from the belt housing. I brought it to a shop and even they are stumped by it. It’s definitely something in the clutch, though. I’ve been calling Airdam but no luck on getting through yet. Anyone have some ideas?
Just recently replaced the motor on my warn winch on my 2013 outlander 800. After I replaced the motor I tested it off my truck battery and it works perfect both directions but…
Now that I put it back in the quad I can’t get it to work again. I suspect that it is the contactor box that is the issue but want to know what you guys think before I buy one. So first off when I push my winch button I get no clicking at all, and usually those contactors make a pretty distinct click sound if I remember correctly. I took a test light and I have power at the red wire at the contactor that comes from the battery. I also have power at both terminals on the winch(blue and yellow wires). When testing the one terminal on the winch with my test light it caused the winch to start but I don’t know what this means(doesn’t do it on the other terminal). The ground on the contactor looks like it is in good shape. So what do you guys think?
I had emailed Warn about the issue also and they replied saying if the contactor was bad then the winch would only turn in one direction, but I cant get it to turn at all so I don’t know if that is correct. Oh and all fuses are good.

My 08 800 has had some intermittent starting problems since last spring, I’ve pretty much eliminated everything but the multifunction switch, I’ve read that this can give some problems because it’s not completely waterproof and the copper staple can become corroded, I had to jump the solenoid to start my quad almost all day on Saturday except when I started it up first thing in the morning when it was good and dry, after a little moisture it failed again. I was wondering if anyone had replaced one before or knows of a procedure to do so? I had a good look at it this winter when I knew it was going to be an issue and it looks like a lot has to come off. Any tips and or procedures would be greatly appreciated!
Greetings, I did a search and only found a couple of hits. My issue is, I have a 2014 Outlander XT-P and I purchased a Deluxe fairing from the dealer but it does not seem to fit on the handlebars, it will fit our 2013 Outlander (smaller bars) but I did see at least one person on this site with the Deluxe fairing mounted on his XT-P. Does anyone know if this requires a different clamp or what was done to get the clamps to fit the handlebars?
Thanks in advance. – Len
