Wanted to try some LEDs for cheap before going to an HID kit and I am pretty happy with these. Got both bulbs for $6 shipped. They are mainly for looks and as a daytime running lamp since I don’t ride at night.

I have a 2008 outlander 650xt and my 12v outlet has LED spot lights connected to it for power. So one night on one of my adventures I had to help my uncle and his friend fix a quad at a hunting cabin, it was getting dark out and we need more light then just our little flash lights so I put my LED lights on and they worked for about two hours then all of a sudden just shut off key was still on and the toggle switch was as well so I clicked it once and boom back on again so I didn’t think anything of it. Then the next day rolls around and of course when my one head light burns out and I go to use them nothing won’t work worth anything. I checked all the fuses with a test light and they all worked except one 20 amp and I changed it and still nothing so I don’t know if a wire disconnected or what, but I’m no electrical wiz so I am lacking in knowing what the problem is if anybody wants to lend a thought anything would help.

Looking for ideas on a light bar. Size, mounting, type of beam… Flood or diffused…spot etc. also type of switch and where you mounted? I’m riding 2015 xt max 800

Has anyone just gone ahead and hard wired in the high beam headlights and put it on another switch? My highs have broke on me 4 times now and am lookig for a more permanent fix

Like it says I’m a potential buyer, I want everyone’s honest opinion and thoughts. I have a good idea but want to do my due diligence. So I’m a rancher here in Oregon and I do all my checking cattle and gathering off a quad. I do all my hauling and pulling with my commander. So the bike would be used for just riding, and hauling two cattle dogs or the occasional bags of salt mix or drip torches. All my heavy hauling pulling it is not used. We live in hill country, so a lot of the ground I’m running on isn’t even, and usually on side hills. With all that being said, how tippy are outlanders? How’s their performance on off trail riding? Does anyone use them in a similar capacity as to what I want to? Any opinions, thoughts, observations are greatly appreciated.
