Master cylinder empty- Brake leak

At the end of the ride today I found my master cylinder was empty. I’ve noticed in the past (only had the new atv 2 months) that the parking brake goes soft. Also thought I had an engine oil leak since there was ‘oil’ in the skid plate. Apparently it’s brake fluid instead.

Called the dealer and he said, "bring it in the middle of next month"! Seems to me a safety related warranty problem should be a little higher priority than that. He effectively said,"fix it yourself". Glad I didn’t waste money on the extended warranty, since the base one doesn’t seem to exist. Good way for Can Am to save money on warranty repairs.

Going to get a handful of copper washers and some brake fluid tomorrow. Let the search begin…

1000 max xt-p rim offset

Bought 14" itp ss212 4+2 front and 5+3 rears and terminator 29.5 10 front and 12 rear. The front rims are ok regarding width but the rear are 2" too wide on each side. Have a max xt-p and clear piggyback shocks with 2.5 inches. Anyone know about 14" rims with close to stock offset? I rather use spacers if i get to close. Would like to get maybe a 6+1 or 6+2 rear rims.

Color change questions

Im wanting to change the yellow plastics on my 2015 800 xmr to blue, my truck is black and blue so it be cool if they matched. Ive looked on line and seen where people have done the yellow plastics in blue but not sure if its paint or if blue plastics are offered somewhere. I didnt find any on canam parts website.

“Pop” in steering

I’ve searched "steering", but don’t seem to find a thread with my exact issue.

2013 650 XT here, about 300 miles. I’m noticing a pop when I turn left and right. The power steering effort feels linear, but slight play detected in the bars and seems tied to the pop noise.

I jacked up the front, shook both front tires, very little, if any, play noticed in each wheel. When jacked up, I don’t really hear the pop noise when I move the handlebars. Rods don’t appear bent and the bolts and codder pins are in place on the bottom of the steering column.

When I lower the quad back down (quad is off, so no power steering active), weight back on the front tires, I can hear this pop again by pulling the bars in each direction.

So, I don’t think it’s a power steering issue since I hear the noise when it’s not running. Is there anything I can grease or bolt(s) to check?

Thanks in advance for your time.
