New Aux Lights Installed – Almost look factory

Just got done installing the new fog lights, on mine and the wife’s Outlanders. I ended up picking up new front end plastics searched long and hard to find lights that would fit just right and was able to mount them with a few little modifications. I also am planning on doing the green Halo kits on my headlights and purple on my wife’s I already installed the green and purple marker LEDs. Mainly so when we go riding with other or at night so its easy to identify each other and plus it gives it a cool look. Let me know what you guys think. I can do a write up if anyone is intrested on what parts I used.

Feedback wanted on this Mission Trailer

I have really been struggling trying to find a good trailer for my quads. I have two Outlander Max machines (longer wheelbase). I like aluminum but have had a really hard time trying to find one that fits my needs. I have been looking for a long time and haven’t pulled the trigger as I always find something that doesn’t exactly fit what I am looking for. Anyway, one of the options I have looked at through pictures is the Mission Trailer listed below. I do not live near a dealer so it would be hard to go look at one of these in person before buying. I like the idea of being able to "side load" one of the machines to keep the overall length of the trailer down for one axle. I would appreciate feedback on the mission trailer below (especially any current owners) and would like to know about quality of welds, integrity of frame, how it pulls loaded, any issues, etc. Thanks…

Outlander won’t crank after exhaust flooded

Went riding yesterday on my 2013 outlander 1000 xt and went in a hole I had been through multiple times and let off the gas for a split second while in it to put in 4×4 and bike died. Pushed it out, stood it up for a good while letting all the water drain and got pulled back to the truck. Pulled plugs and had a good bit of water on my back one but oil looked fine. Well today I went and got new plugs since I couldn’t get it going yesterday thinking hopefully plugs were just fouled out that bad and still no luck!! I’m stumped now. It has combustion, it’s getting air/fuel and now it’s for sure getting good spark. Spins over fine but won’t crank! Any help is much appreciated and I am new to the forum so pull a few punches if possible haha.

New Outlander L Max Owner – Questions

I just picked up a 2015 Outlander L 500. Really loving this machine so far, but I had a couple questions after a couple rides.

I had a noise start after 100km in the rear end where on uneven surfaces and terrain, I get a clunking sound. It happens more at slow crawls through rocky terrain, but I get it it at speeds too. Is it normal to hear little clunk type sounds? I haven’t had an atv for many years and anything I drove was chain driven, so the Outlander is a new beast for me.

Another noise was something in the belt area that made a similar noise when letting off the throttle sometimes. It’s done that since brand new.

Secondly, how deep can it go in water before I can do damage? I pulled off the plastic up in front of the handlebars and I see 4 hoses and the main air intake inside. Is there anything else on the machine that I need to be concerned about aside from the exhaust?

2013 Outlander 800r Broken Diff??

I have a 2013 Outlander 800r, Stock lift with all Rhino Axles.. and 31" Outlaws.

I do wheelies on grassy terrain as my only riding besides trail / night riding.
I went to take off in High gear not pushing it or anything, and I heard a break and knocking.. I believe its the rear diff..

Im having issues getting the Axles out at the moment. But I know its not the axles or cv joint that are broken.

However, would I be better off Buying 230 – 500 $ in new teeth or 400 $ for a used working commander / 1000 xmr Outy diff? and if so would thy bolt up to it w/ no problems?

maintance Required Dash message

any thoughts on why this message would appear? I have 2015 Outlander L Max 1,567 km It has had it’s first service completed. The manual recommends service at 1500 km. Is this a code that is built in that is a reminder to have service once you hit 1,500 km. If so I assume it will do it again at 3,000 km? I have greased the ATV, cleaned the air filter, checked all fluid levels. It there a way to reset this message, or do you require it to be connected to a service computer to have this done? Any thoughts????
