Buds

Is there an alternative to hook up to the diagnostic system on BRP products? Seems like you can’t fix anything on a Can-Am without their BUDS diagnostic system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

650 turns over slowly and won’t start

New to this forum. Hello.

I just recently acquired a 650 outlander max. I parked it after riding a few weeks ago and got back on it after a week, went to start it and it barely turned over, and would not start. I was able to connect a jumper to the or/br wire post and connect it to the neg post on the battery and get it to start. I have checked continuity from ECM to start button, continuity from or/brn wire to switch connector, checked continuity in start button. over 12V in or/grn wire.

Checked D2 diode, seems to be OK. Replaced the starter selenoid. Stumped.

Checked codes. Scrolled "speed", then end. The display is stuck on "end". Can’t get the mode button to scroll through functions now as seems to be stuck.

Anyone have a similar problem, and what was the fix?

Mobil 1 0w-40 euro formula

Hello all,
I have read many threads where members here use Amsoil 0w-40. So I wanted to get peoples thoughts on if I used Mobil 1 0w-40 euro formula. Since this oil is either a "true" synthetic, or has a good additive package to meet the European car manufacturers standards. Since I live in NH it does get pretty cold in the winter time. But curious if 0w-40 will be fine during the summer months. Depending on my annual mileage I sometimes only do 1 oil change a year.
