My 2014 outlander 650 started to make a whinning noise even when the engine is turned off it still does it for a bout 40 seconds, could this be the fuel pump, it sounds like it’s coming from that area, a code did appear on the pod saying power steering overheat but disappeared after a while. The noise does not sound like its coming from the steering area. l

Hey guys. I was thinking of Plasti Dipping my stock 08 Outty wheels black.

I’ve watched numerous videos and it seems simple enough.

I’m just worried that I’ll spend all the time prepping and spraying the wheels and then they’ll get all dinged up right away.

Can anyone speak to Plasti Dipping their wheels? Will it hold up well on rocks/water/mud/etc…?

I was thinking I would just go totally overkill and put on like 10 coats :yahoo:

so I broke my front left axle and i might have broke the front right too but idk because when I give it alot of gas then the tires will spin every once in awhile but not at all times so is my front diff messed up also?

I’ve posted a vid of this noise before, I was told its normal, it’s done it since day 1, 2015 Outty 800 XT. But this can’t be normal, it sounds awful, help me figure out what it is.

I was replacing my belt and noticed that my primary clutch only has four weights and it seems all other videos I watch they have all six. Is this correct? Also my primary is ticking badly is this normal?

So I bought the wheeler 4 months ago. Ran good about 2k on it. I adjusted valves on it thinking it hasn’t been done since the 10hr.

We’ll now I have a loud ticking all rpm and when warm. They were all very tight. I went off the 2 marks on timing chain, and the right gap.

Runs fine doesn’t stall, good power.

The ticking is just insane.

Anything else I should look for timing?

Hi everyone. So today I got this idea into my head to matte black my plastics on my can am. What is the best way to go about doing this? I have a friend who can paint them this color professionally at his body shop. Any tips or advice? Kinda looking to switch up the yellow look. thanks

I have a 2012 Outlander Max LTD, I want to add the factory front ACS to it from an XMR. I bought the complete ACS suspension from an XMR to do the swap. I contacted my local dealer ship to see if they could help with the swap. They informed me that this cannot be done. They said I would have to buy a new wiring harness and a new computer in order to get this to work.
Has anyone tried to add ACS to any machines, and if you have how did you make it work.
