Yoiks. 1034 lbs!
PS – For the fun of it, I got on the scales and it surprisingly nailed my weight. Whew. At least I’m not fat like my jowly Can-Am!

my troubleshooting fan
2006 Outlander 400 fan not coming on.
Not a mechanic but would like your input for my steps I took to troubleshoot….
#1. Checked fan fuse 20A and was not blown but had corrosion, put a new fuse with di-electric grease.
#2. Unplugged fan and put 12V directly and fan works.
#3. I unplugged connector from temperature sender and checked with a trouble light and had power to it.
so, my conclusion, I need a temperature sender?
Any input appreciated.
thanks
Luc
Elka shocks
My stock setup doesn’t allow me to go through corners or any kind of rough terrain without mashing the brakes. Kind of sucks when you have all that power and can’t use it.
Anyway…..has everyone been pretty pleased with the Elkas? I have a trip planeed to ride in Attica Indiana shortly after they are supposed to arrive and hope to tear it up!
Belt Width Specs ?
Took my 2014 all apart today to find out why it runs so well.
Pulled the CVT cover. Clean, dry, no belt dust in there at 125 hrs and 3300 km.
Measured the belt width in one spot and get 1 9/32 ".
I can’t find the spec in the manual.
What would the spec be, and when would you change a belt "just because" ?
I ride it gently but plow a bit with it.
I sure wouldn’t want to change a belt on the trail it takes a while o get that damn cover off and on.
Thanks
John
