It took all day to change wear sleeves and pinion seals, front and rear. Also replaced cv shaft seals and front drives haft boot. Some say you can shift front diff forward to remove driveshaft, not going to happen. Remove as much as possible, makes the job that much easier. Only have 2500 miles on 2010 650XTP. I know some friends with 3 times than mine and they haven’t touched theirs. Happy I changed them.

Now only a 6 month warranty? I wonder if they had a bunch of claims on the 2015s….

I have an 14outlander 800 stock exhaust I’m looking for an aftermarket hmf swamp series exhaust with the fuel tuner to give me a little more power. I do not want a loud exhaust I do alot of night riding and don’t need to upset people. So can anyone tell me how much of a difference in sound it is when riding 20+mph and at a high rpm and do you run the full system or just the slip on?

This has always done it since I have had the machine, but finally wanted to look into it. When I push the rear end of my atv side to side I get a loud squeaking sound and a lessor squeak getting on to ride. But if I put straight up and down force to compress the suspension and let it come back up no squeak at all. Ideas? the sound is comig from the suspension/swing arm area for sure.

hey guys. I am putting a cv teck clutch in my o9 outlander and see the the new clutch has the big ring bolted to the back of it. is this suposed to be removed before cause it seems to hit the plastic shroud? I seen some vids of the cv Installs and none of them had this ring? Just wanted to know if anyone else come across this before. thanks.

Thinking about doing a set of drop-in cams for my 2010 800R Outlander. I like how it runs, just want a little more power, and dont really wanna tear the engine down.

Anyone have any experience with these cams? Install pretty easy? Good noticeable power gains? Do they require a full exhaust to see full power potential…..I already have a new HMF slip on right now.

Planning on using the new Monster Power Tuner to program it.

I’ve searched through the forums but have not found a definite answer. Does anyone make spring spacers that will for sure fit the XT-P fox podiums? My preload is adjusted all the way out on my front shocks and with my weight on the front end (radiator relocate, extra fuel on racks, can-am extreme front bumper) I need a little more adjustability to get a little more ground clearance. I have occasionally seen people with XT-P’s on here and spacers, but I have no idea where to get them. Rubberdown Customs has not answered my emails as of yet.

Just picked up a new 1000 outlander has 100 miles on it. The steering stem has play up and down about a inch and is very annoying. Do they do this or is mine just loose?

HELP – Topped off the Oil and Coolant before a ride, turned the key and the cluster went blank. Back light is on but nothing else. Checked all the fuses and connections, wiggled wires, etc. – nothing helped. Starts and runs fine, headlight, taillight and brake lights all working. What am I missing? :th_smiliepullhair:
