I have a tuner programmed by VFJ but I have a feeling the bikes still running a bit lean. Does anyone know how to tweak this thing so it gets a little more fuel?
I know most guys on here are like myself and wont take their cars or machines to the dealership unless absolutely needed. I would like to do my 10 hr service myself, but I am worried about any future possible warrant claims I might have. Is my dealership or can am going to deny my warranty if I do maintenance myself? Or am I sage as lomg as I keep all of my fluid and filter receipts? Any of you diy’ers had a successful warranty claim?

Hey guys I just picked up an outlander 800. It has a build date of 9/06 not sure if that’s still considered a 2006 or if it’s a 2007. It has 27" tires on it so I’ll be looking at messing with probably the secondary clutch springs and probably the one way bearing so it shifts better.
Sorry if it’s been beaten to death but I’m looking at getting the most power out of the quietest slip on I can find. I was doing research and it seemed like the hmf swamp and their programmer were pretty good. Looked like the swamp xl was loud but didn’t know how it would do if I had the xl with a quiet core installed . Would you guys recommend either of these or the muzzy with their digitune for the most useable power? Deeper is ok but I don’t want something obnoxious. Thanks in advance gentlemen.
Took the 07 800 outty out for a spin today, and in high gear it made a grinding noise, like it wasn’t quite in gear, I rebuilt the gear case a few years ago and everything was fine, every other gear seems ok, so this seems odd, any ideas what might be wrong.
I tried adjusting the shifter and it doesn’t make a difference, I’m thinking I have an adjustment issue with the gear case inside, shim or something.

I wasn’t paying attention and put my one way bearing on backwards. All seemed okay till I put it in reverse and it jerked backwards and stalled out. I didn’t even hit the throttle. I pulled the primary clutch and realized I put the one way on backwards and when I pulled it off the bearing in the end fell out. I put the bearing back in by hand and flipped it the right way however now it sounds like a cricket when idling and under speed the cricket sound is constant (could also sound like a pin dropping). Also my clutch bolt had nearly all the threads rounded off; it was perfectly fine when I put it in the first time and I didn’t round any of the threads. Im thinking rebuild the one way bearing and I should be okay then. Any ideas/advice?
