Hi everyone,
So since I’ve upgraded to a 650, I now have many more options when it comes to exhausts compared to my old Outlander 330.
The thing is, I don’t really want to have any packing to have to change or worry about, which is why I really like the idea of a fully baffled or mechanically baffled exhaust, whatever you would like to call them.
I’m having trouble trying to find these "packingless" exhausts, I’ve heard of MBRP selling a muffler with no packing, but have had no luck finding a video or sound clip of one. Does anyone know of any other exhausts that don’t use packing in the muffler? Sound clips would be cool too! :thumbsmilie:
I know there’s already umpteen-million threads on exhausts, but couldn’t find any that focused on mechanically baffled exhausts. Sorry if there’s already a topic on this!
you guys having these problems? seem pretty common and i don’t know if i would buy one!!
power sterering problems
noisey clutch
frame cracks
strut failure on the 500s
shitty brake pads
im not knockin can-am but these seem to be issues with them…cheers
Has anyone recently bought a Gen2 lift kit from Super ATV. I saw some discussions about bent trailing arms when they first were released. Wondering if those issues got resolved or need to stay away altogether.
How durable have the composite racks proven to be? From just their appearance, they would seem to be plenty durable carrying weight, but I’m curious how well they handle having items tied down to them, the tie points specifically. For example, when packing out game, elk for example, I use ratchet straps to hold the animal to my current ATVs metal racks. I envision the plastic buckling under the tension from the straps.
Does anybody have any experience in this type of situation?

I have a 2016 XT 650 and would like to tighten the suspension up a little more. I currently have the spring adjustment set as tight as they will go. Are there other springs I can go to? Both front and rear.

I searched the forum but didn’t see much about setting up the DBO 650 clutch kit. I have a 2015 650 Max with stock tires. My kit is on order and should be here in a couple of days:yahoo:. Just wondering if anyone out there has installed this kit on the 650 Max with stock tires, and if so what was your set up. I know it will come with instructions but I like to here about real life experiences. Thanks. Also I upgraded to the Maveric belt. What are your recommendations for breaking a belt in.
Looking for some opinions. Currently have a 2016 1000 xmr. Want an exhaust but really dont know what to get. I just had a RJWC dual slip on. One short ride and I hated it. Absolutely stupid loud. Had a slip on muzzy on my old 1000 xt then went to the full muzzy duals which I loved the sound of. Living in Canada its over $1200 for the dual muzzy so for now thats out the question. Been looking at a slip on LTE and HMF swamp series. Wondering if anyone has experience with either and how loud are they?
