So I’ve had my 2015 800 XT since march. Since day 1 I complained that this machine bogged from the get go
Dealer and everyone told me it’s just cold. Warm it up. But I do. For 15 min at least. My 06 nvr bogged. But the 15 always does. So recently I had an issue with my fuel tank not venting. So dealer had it for 2 weeks. When I got it back they replaced both tank valves and checked valves and said the machine was fine. I took it out today to notice the heated hand grip buttons were cracked from over tightening and my.machine was still bogging. At one point I thought it went into limp mode. But it didnt. I’m at my witts end. I just want my machine to run right. It won’t even wheelie. Any one have any ideas? I don’t know what to think anymore and dealer clearly has no clue.

Good evening everyone from my jeopardized Colorado ATV Vacation! Hoping some members can help me with an issue I am seeing with My 2010 Outlander Max 800r. I am only 1 day into my Rocky Mountain ATV trip and the Outty is not happy with me.
Today about 3 hours into our ride my quad lost power and immediately died. After around 20 minutes I found the F5 7.5A fuse had blown – this is the fuel pump fuse. I replaced the fuse and went on my merry way for around an hour when it blew again. Replaced the fuse yet again however pretty soon after this go around the bike started losing power really badly (but did not die). I was only attempting 20’ish MPH and it would ride ok then RPMs would sink and bike would slow to 5’ish MPH … with the throttle in the same position. This went on for around 1 hour while we were on the trail until we made it back to the main road. It wasn’t really a sputter more a solid loss of power, with constant curve – then reved back up in the same curve if that makes sense.
When we got back to the main road I became really confused. Once on the road and going over 35 mph the outty performed perfectly. You would never have known there was an issue – 35mph to 60 mph for around 45 minutes with no problems.
Any ideas? The Outty seems to idle fine, can even gas the throttle and it revs good. I am running some Lucas Injector cleaner right now on idle but have little hope of it resolving the problem.
I could pull the fuel pump to clean the filter if you guys think it would help. Not really close to any place that could replace the fuel pump if that is what the problem turns out to be.
Could spark plugs or a failing battery be causing voltage problems? It seems more fuel than voltage but at this point I am grasping at straws.

So I’ve had my 2015 outlander 800XT 3 months now. I just had the first service a couple weeks back which went well as expected and tonight after giving the boy a ride around the property it rolled over 200 miles.
I have to say I’m extremely impressed with this machine! I usually buy and sell but I can just tell wether I loose interest for a bit or not my machine will stay mine until it becomes one with the earth again lol.
I was tossed up between the can am and a sportsman 1000xp because of the power, yes I know there’s an outty 1000 but I set a budget and wasn’t moving a penny. I flat out could not be happier that I stuck with my gut feeling and chose the Can-am.
I’ve bashed it through the woods, raced it down tar and dirt roads, drifted through the local pits, water wheelied it a few times and had it through more mud than I thought it was capable of.
It has been the best ATV I’ve ever ridden hands down and I’ll never suggest anything else to anyone "that I actually care about anyhow"

So I bought the WildBoar radiator kit for my 13′ outlander 800 I finally got all the hoses routed and everything setup, no thanks to the instructions. Then I referred to the repair manual on how to bleed the coolant; so I took off the reservoir cap, began to fill the top of the radiator from the top radiator hose line, I then cracked open both cylinder bleeder screws to let excess air out. Then I replaced the reservoir cap but it was full to the brim and started to leak out of the little tube onto the floor and the radiator wasn’t even completely full. Do I fill the radiator to the brim, replace the upper hose then let the reservoir just slightly pressurize and overflow? I don’t see how it will even be half full again in its current position?

I keep meaning to mention this but if you get a hole or tear in your seat just use a rubber tire patch. I had a small tear a number of years ago, put a patch over it and it’s never gotten any worse for wear.
Ok guys I am new to this so need some help. I know I need a tuner. I am going with Dobec 3 or 3.5? Which one? I just want to plug and play. As for exhaust I want a deep sound. I love the look of the new rjwc duals but are they worth $900? I like the Big Gun EXO. What gives me a non annoying deep sound. I have a 13 1000 Outy XT. Also want it to last so not really looking for a cheap slip on. Thanks guys!
