I have a new set of 25" bighorns that I may want the dealer to switch over from the stock tires on the xt 1000. I would imagine the bighorns would be the better choice. I also wonder if there roughly the same size as stockers…..what would you all do..keep the stockers on or have them put the 25" bighorns on????

Question on break in
I just got my 2015 CAN-AM Outlander 1000 XTP. Now I did you guys break it in per manual? Reason I ask is I am attending a mud race this weekend and would like to try it in the mud. What is your opinions? Here is a picture of it finished.

Stock Shock Question
Hey all, I’ve searched through the threads but did not come to a conclusive answer.
Are stock shocks on a 2010 Outlander Max 800r filled with oil or gas?
My driver side rear has what appears to be oil/grease all over it and the splatter pattern couldn’t really have come from anywhere else.
This leads me to believe it is oil filled and may have blown a seal?
Parts Sources
Hi, still very new here and new to Bombardiers as well (at least the wheeled versions :clapsmilie:. What are the best parts sources for my 2004 outlander 400? I mostly need some carburetor parts but some body parts, oil filters, etc. as well. I can’t get the manuals to download, is there a good source for a repair manual download whether free or cheap? Thanks for any help.

06 rear brake rotor play.
I needed to change the brakes on the 06 max. The rear caliper and rotor had a lot of built up grease and grime on them. Maybe from grease slinging off the u joint I’m not sure, but I do then to over grease things. Anyway there is a lot of play in the rotor. Is this normal?
08 Outlander 650, No Start, Just Clicks?
Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you guys have experienced a problem with your 650 where all the quad does is click, click, click.
Could it be the starter, or the solenoid? Are there any known issues that I should check before running through the whole electrical system? BTW battery sat on a charger overnight too.

2015 800 Outlander diff question! help!
Hey guys, new to the forum and new to can am, drove a 1991 300 honda prior to upgrading to the 800 outlander and love the machine. However, the maintenance is much more than what I’m used to. I changed the front and rear diff fluids today, and according to the manual you are supposed to fill the front diff to the fill plug and the rear diff to 1 inch below the fill plug. The front diff was easy however rear diff was tougher to tell when I hit the proper full amount. When I started the bike it seems fine however in reverse it seems to have alot less pull, as if something is slipping! Help! :th_smiliefrustrated
