Mama always said…………

That’s there is no shame in getting stuck, but it is a foul if someone else pulls you out. Just collapsed a little dirt under the left rear that was undercut from a thunderstorm a few days ago. Took longer setting up the winch and strap and stowing the gear than the actual pull out. Nothing broke, nothing bent, press. And it wasn’t that bad. My wife is thinking about starting up a "Hall of Fame/Shame" for this stuff.

Black and grey keys

I’ve had my 13′ outlander 800 since it was new but due to work etc. I only have 15hrs or so on it. Anyway, I was out 2 wk’s ago and finally tested the top speed, which was about 47mph before the governor kicked in. I have always used the black key because that suppose to be the "100% power" one. So the other day I tried the grey key and holy cow! It seems the dealer programmed them wrong. I now really know what this thing can do!!

2004 Can Am 400 Outlander

If it sits for a period of time, won’t start. If I blow air into the gas tank, it will start. I’m guessing the gas in the carb. bowl evaporates therefore not getting gas. Turning the engine over doesn’t get fuel to the carb, so I blow into the tank and then it will start and stay running. Anyone know what’s going on and solution? Would appreciate help. I just discovered this forum. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dum noob ?

Here is a dumb guy question. I have an 05 800 Max. The battery needs removed and I can see it up under the back. What is the easy way to remove it? Does the tool kit box come oh, if so how?

Second, when wanting to start out slow it’s very jerky. Almost ruin it from under me. It is not smooth unless you start out fast. Is there some sort of clutch adjustment or does it need a new clutch, belt or whatever? I don’t have a manual.

Thanks

Helmets

I have never worn a helmet riding ATV’s. Every winter I say I’m going to get me 1 to help cut down on the cold air, sleet, and snow. NEED recommendations for a lightweight full face helmet. Who knows maybe I’d wear it year round if it is comfortable? Thanks
