Has anyone else taken the jump and tried these monsters out? I just purchased a set of 4 for my Commander, along with some STI5 beadlock rims. I was worried that the ride might be a little stiffer, but so far so good.
I did this in response to having a dumb butt attack last weekend. I had a sidewall get cut on my stock tires, went to get the plug kit out to get me home, and found that I didn’t have it with me. Doh!! Luckily one of my friends was with me, and had his. Living in Nevada, and being out in the middle of the desert or the mountains by myself or with my wife with me a lot, I thought I better be proactive and go major on this one. Otherwise it would be a long walk back to town with a totally peed off wife.:th_smiliepullhair:

So I’m new to the side by sides I just got a 13 1000 LTD. this weekend I was playing in mud and noticed I had lost the 4WD, I’ve got noting going on at the tires and I don’t have the indicator coming on on the instrument panel but my switch is lit up…so where do I start and does anyone have a good diagram or anything as even getting the body panels off seems a chore?
Hi all. Just got a commander max limited. Not had the chance to drive it properly yet…
So, I wanted to start this topic to ask various questions as they come up and maybe post any info that might be useful.
First question: does anyone have any plugs on the zerks on the lower control arms? I noticed that mine don’t have and it seemed strange – already some of the purple grease had managed to escape just with a tiny bit of driving…
I noticed two important things for the 2016 Limited:
1. The rear diff is fixed
2. There’s no onboard compressor and no auto lowering or raising the Fox suspension.
I’m sure many nice things will come up after I get time to start driving it properly after a couple of days 🙂
Do not buy a Can Am product. I thought Can Am made quality products and would stand by their products. The do not. I paid cash for a Cam Am Commander Max and the motor failed after getting the 20 hour service done. After being rebuilt I picked it up a couple months later and it failed again on the same day. The local dealer had a technician test it and it failed for the technician. It has now been over 8 months without my machine and Can Am still has not compensated me. They cannot figure out what has caused the failure twice and they have not replaced the motor or machine. I have requested a new machine to replace the broken one and they have not responded. Now they want to rebuild the same engine that has failed twice without identifying the cause of the failure. Again, I am still without the machine that I paid CASH for. If you buy Can Am products they will not stand by their products and they will do nothing to help the customer.
