Attachment 31602 I just bought these for a $100 on clearance from a dealership. I have a 2008 outlander max 800. I know there meant for newer machines but I’ve seen guys installing them on Gen 1. I thought there was a plug in under the gauge pod. I tried doing a search but ever since my tapalk updated I get no results.

How are the newer stock skids holding up?? They are much thicker then the G1 atvs.
I just got a call from my dealer and he said I have enough points to get a free front skid!
So I would only need to buy rear and a arm skids for the complete set.
I always have used ricochet in the past and they are excellent except for weight and the hardware used. Seems like you put them on and the rocks bang up the hardware so I never was able to take them off but honestly didn’t need to.
So I need some more advice and info from you guys.
Options:
1. Buy the rest of the oem skids
2. Buy ricochet or other aftermarket
3. I currently have a brand new set of brand new ricochet skids still in plastic but for a G1 renegade. … maybe I can mount them up some how? Are the frames and arms that different where I couldn’t get it to work?
What do you guys think?
And the more I save the more I can spend on other mods

1st. I was thinking a 6-10 inch light bar. Something around 70 watts. Can I wire it straight to the high beams or should I wire to a relay that turns on with the high beams.
2nd. I’ve noticed the prices of come down over the years on amazon for light bars. But I’ve noticed alot different brands. I know rigid is one of the best but I’m spending $400.
I think I’m going to get a spot flood combo. What are some better quality lights that are around $100?
