Would the switch be the culprit? I didn’t go deep into this other than seeing if the high beam worked on a separate relay in the fuse box but it appears all lights work on one fuse and one relay.

TricLED Angel eye’s
Once I got them I noticed where the wires tie in the solders are left kinda exposed so I I put black rtv where all the wires meet the board itself. Next annoying issue, (which I asked him on the phone) the adhesive backing was not good at all! My garage was 70 and I also left the lights on and heat gun going to make sure everything was nice and toasty, put them on and they fell right off lol.
So like anything I’ve put on… Old gorilla super glue never lets me down applied a small bead and boom instant bond so after getting them all on holes drilled Yada Yada…I have to say cool product but could use some refining

Heated grip elements under stock grips?
I saw a video online of a guy doing it on a motorcycle and of course he makes it look super easy.
Also would the elements work with with the 5 level symtec heating box?
It’s really not because I’m cheap but because the heated grips I’ve seen really suck as far as grips go. They really lack grip.
G2 throttle body removal installation guide
This is a guide on how I personally do a TB swap, this installation will be a little more in depth as it will be of installing a new 2016 1000R 54mm TB and simple modifications to install on a 2012-2015 Canam atv.
First step remove seat 🙂
Second step remove 3 plastic panels
3rd locate TB
4th remove all 3 clamps completely
Locate and loosen off the (2) 10mm nuts
Will need a few tools similar as this to wedge the air box up about 3/4" from the top of the frame
Now use them to wedge under the airbox, make sure not to apply too much pressure and ensure the airbox isn’t freezing cold as plastic becomes brittle at cold temps
Now with the wedges in place you can see how much the TB lifted out of the lower rubber boot
Now turn TB and remove the TPS(throttle position sensor) and air idle valve solenoid connectors
Now to make the TB come out easier I use a heat gun to warm up the rubber boots to make them more flexible
Now with the boots warm to the touch gently pull the TB out
Simple as that, now the following will regard about doing a 54mm TB install
The difference between 46mm TPS (left) and 54mm TPS (right) the 54mm TPS will not work as it will fail to calibrate when doing a TPS reset but it has the same connector, also will cause an engine light and limp home mode if tried
The old 46mm TPS works on the 54mm TPS besides one hole lining up to nothing, simple fix, 2 zip ties, 1 for holding the TPS tight to the TB and the other for piece of mind
Removal of the throttle cable is straight forward and install is the reversal of removal
54 (left) beside the 46 TB (right)
Now to install TB, apply heat again to help ease the TB back into place
I slide the bottom of the TB in first since the bottom rubber boot is much more beefy then the top boot
Bam it’s in its home
Now remove the wedges placed under the airbox, tighten the (2) 10mm nuts back up on the airbox, reinstall 3 clamps and loosely tighten them, reconnect TPS and air idle valve solenoid connectors, turn throttle body to correct position and tighten clamps and re zip tie the throttle cable back into place. Reinstall plastic panels and reset TPS
Now reinstall the seat and adjust fuel controller if needed and enjoy the new found throttle response 😀

Any tips? Ordering my new xtp soon
Im going to get the 2015 or 16 xtp max, 800 or 850 respectively. Im also going to buy me and the lady new lids, and a ramp most likley to load the thing. Point is Ill be dropping about 18 or 19 grand befor tax.
The bike will be purchased cash. I would prefer the 16, but will buy the 15 if there is a deal to be had. Im going to fuss and complain about the pdi, delivery, set up and grind the guy to no end, I have no shame. Problem is there is only a handfull of dealers within 1000 km of me, so they know I cant just go to the next guy. Poker face is a must.
What would you do?
