Clutching

Just curious on what everyone has set up for clutching. Full primary/ secondary, clutch kit? and how it’s working out for you!:aniwheeler6:

2 xmr in 5×12 trailer

I’m trying to see if there’s a way to fit two 650 XMRS on a 5×12 trailer. It has a rear gate and rails. The rails aren’t real high. I’ve tried loading one sideways but it’s too long more than half of the rear tire hangs off. Any possible mods that won’t be too costly to be able to fit both bikes on there? Currently I’m loading one in my truck the other on the trailer. I really don’t want to have to purchase a longer trailer because it won’t fit in the garage. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Renegade 500 lack of power

Today I went out for a 3hr ride in the Bush went threw some holes etc. Came to one hole I found I had a lack of power.. I noticed water was coming out of my CTV exhaust snorkel. I limped it back to the truck had problems loading it. I brought it home I had to have the throttle 50% before it would start moving… I brought it into my gradge with a slight slope I had to have it prob 75% of throttle to get it in the gradge it was a crawl.. I thought the CTV was filled with mud I pulled it off. 1.5L of water came out no mud.. I also checked air box thinking it got in there bone dry. Running on both cylinders but I noticed the rear is quite a bit hotter just by touch. It’s a 2012 can am renegade 500. I havnt tried taking it out after it sat for a few hrs anyone have any ideas of what could be going wrong ?

Diff Fluid Change

I have an 02 Quest 500, and looking to change the diff fluid.
Manual does not mention this in maintenance. Any idea how? Difficult?

I also have specific measurements for front and rear. Use a measuring cup for fluid oz.?

Fuel Line Dryer & Antifreeze

What are the pros and cons to the two types of Heet available (yellow vs red) used to prevent fuel lines from freezing in winter?

Yellow Heet contains Methanol
Red Heet contains Isopropanol (like rubbing alcohol?)

I’ve heard that the yellow Heet is more effective than the red but the methanol tends to dry out seals in your fuel system.

People buying fuel at the pump containing ethanol say that their engines produce less power and the fuel becomes unstable after long term storage. Does the use of Heet in the fuel system contribute to the rapid breakdown of the fuel like ethanol does?
