Winter riding – Melting off or Leaving snow covered

Question for all you guys out there that ride in the winter.Gonna be plowing and riding all winter for the first time and I don’t have heated garage space so I’m wondering if anybody out there has any good tips or tricks for melting off your machine after rides. Or, alternatively, do any of you guys just leave your bikes snow covered, I store my bike indoors but its basically just a big shed, no heat in there at all, but not opposed to putting some kind of small safe heat source in there to melt it off if its better than leaving it frozen.

Can-Am 500 to Headline November 2016 Nascar Weekend at Phoenix International Raceway

• Powersports leader announced as sponsor of PIR’s fall semifinal race in the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup

PHOENIX, AZ, November 13, 2015 – The November 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) will be known as the Can-Am 500, continuing the brand’s expansion into racing sponsorship. The race is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016.

“We are thrilled to partner with BRP to present the Can-Am 500 next November,” said PIR President Bryan R. Sperber. “There is a tremendous affinity for outdoor powersports among NASCAR fans, particularly in the desert southwest, that makes this a fantastic fit. The passion, energy and excitement synonymous with the Can-Am brand will be on full display throughout the Can-Am 500 race weekend as the Chase for the Sprint Cup comes to Phoenix.”

The Can-Am brand, owned by BRP, manufacturer of world-renowned motorized recreational vehicles and engines, will serve as the title sponsor for the popular race on Veterans’ Day weekend. It will bookend a year of motorsports activity for the powersports leader, as the company will also serve as the title sponsor of the 2016 Can-Am Duel At Daytona on Feb. 18.

“BRP’s products provide superior performance and adventure, which is a perfect fit for being part of the Chase for the Sprint Cup with NASCAR fans in Arizona, so many of which are fervent outdoor enthusiasts,” said Anne Bélec, senior vice-president, Global Brand and Strategy. “This is a great time for BRP to participate in NASCAR when the breadth of the Can-Am offering is growing exponentially. Our CEO, José Boisjoli, has promised new off-road models every six months and this is a great way to ensure maximum visibility for the Can-Am brand.”

With Can-Am ATVs, side-by-side vehicles and Spyder roadsters, BRP is carrying on a long tradition of performance. More than 30 years ago, the world discovered the Can-Am brand through its revolutionary motocross bikes, and its legend and winning spirit live on – with passion and exhilaration.

The fall race at PIR has sold out in each of the last five years; and under the new Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup format, PIR’s semifinal race in the Chase is the last of the Eliminator round
Page 2 and will determine the final four drivers that will fight for the championship the following weekend.

In order to secure tickets for the Can-Am 500 early, fans can purchase a 2016 NASCAR season ticket, which includes the Good Sam 500 race weekend on March 12-13. Tickets can be purchased by visiting PhoenixRaceway.com or by calling 866-408-RACE (7223).

Outlander vs Maverick Clutch?

I found a good deal on some used Maverick clutches. Anybody know if the will fit my 1k Outlander??? I see the factory part numbers are different but didn’t know if it was because they are weighted different. Thanks in advance.

Tatou 4s tracks installed 16 xmr 1000 – some questions

Just finished the install, did it in two evenings after work. Rear last night, fronts today..about equal amount of work…
Looks like a mean beast..still have to do tension and front tie rod settings yet…tomorrow’s job…

Questions:
-when taking off and running tires are you guys taking front a arm plates right off? Otherwise I see the torsion bolt for front would just dangle..funny they did not weld a nut to the frame to bolt into?
– do you have to reduce spring torsion tension on rear tracks to get the torsion bar bolt to line up?
-do you replace the washer nuts each time on each of these components that have to come off?
-book said 1.5 nut turn on rear torsion and 10mm space…in install manual with my can am kit it said spring 4.5 inch compression and 3/4 inch space..is that what others are using for specs?

Thanks..will post pics right away

Best place to ride

Wondering where everyone’s best/ favorite place to ride is. I ride Windrock in Oliver springs TN very often, mostly because it’s near me and it backs up WMA property and brimstone OHV area. There is nearly 200,000 acres of land to ride and over 1,000 miles of trails.:aniwheeler6::aniwheeler6:
