oil filters???

What oil filter is everyone running?? When i did my 10hr service i just use the can am oil change kit. But i noticed alot of guys are not running the XPS oil. So are you running the oem filters? Or an aftermarket one like K&N. I know K&N air filters are not that great to use.

DESS Key Not Recognized

I’ve read every single post I could find online about this issue and the only "solution" I’ve found is to spray WD-40 and/or air into the ignition to clean it. Here’s the story:

Unloaded my bike the other day and drove it to my shop to do some work on it. Got the error message. Spent about 2 hours trying both keys, etc. Eventually removed the ignition receiver, cleaned it with WD40, and blew it out. Let it dry and it started working again. I took it to the dealer and they confirmed its a common issue and warrantied the ignition receiver.

The following weekend, I went on a group ride over the course of 3 days. On day 2, it gave me the error in the middle of the woods. After a couple of tries I got it started and I was fine. Then, that evening at the camp, it started again and the bike was dead. There was no getting it to work even after cleaning the ignition. We winched it onto the trailer. When I got home it cranked and I backed it off the trailer. Later that evening it happened again. The next morning I took it to the dealer and the bike fired right up in front of the tech.

No clue what to do. Dealer has the bike now and is going to mess around with it this week. Any other solutions out there other than keeping a spare ignition module on my bike?

Outlander max 1000 Ltd edition

Hello everyone,
I’ve just bought a new Outlander max 1000 Ltd edition, I put a rear top of the range rear cargo box on, has anyone put gas struts on the lid just to help when you’ve got your arms full it would be handy if you could just push the button and the lid would open.

Thanks any ideas would be great. M
