Hard shifting

Hello all, i just bought me a 2012 outty 1000XT. Sometimes when i go to shift it into gear its hard as hell to move. Also, when im in low or high its hard to go to reverse and park if needed. Now if I play with it long enough and with a little force it will go. I need to find source and fix it. Any thoughts. I seen a thread talking about the one way bearing needing lube. Bike only has 81 hours.

Head lights not working

I have a 2012 outlander 1000xt. The head lights will not work at all anymore (highs and lows). I looked at all the fuses, and they are good. Replaced the relay and still nothing. The tail lights work, the 4×4 works, and the power steering adjustment button works. The ignition switch and key seem to work good. I tested the the connectors on the headlights and no power going to them. Is the handle bar high low been switch bad? Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Whine noise and clanking noise from back end

I have a 12 outty 1000 has had a and easy 600 miles. Last ride I had 2 issues. First at low speed around I heard what sounds like a bearing on whine or kind like a whistle from the front of the bike not noticeable at higher speeds. Second I have a kinda clanking noise when I rock the quad side to side like there is play somewhere but don’t see anything loose almost sound like loose axle or maybe broken shock. I will see If I can post a video of front end noise. Just posting to see if anyone else has had this issues

So i have 2012 Can-am Outlander 500xt and i’m looking to add more storage to the front rack or back rack. Something that’s waterproof. Can you guys give some options????? Thank you

2012 Outlander 1000 R Stock instrument panel warning about Trans Error

This is about intermittent problem machine occurred probably 4 times the machine runs fine runs great
I have done multiple gearbox changes front and rear diff changes all looks Good is this as far as the oil that I pulled out
Then the last time something happened the instrument panel read it was in neutral and it was fine in high running great could this be a possible linkage problem or is there a sensor near the transmission that has to be calibrated

Hello, I’m considering picking up a ’12 Outlander Max. I was wondering about what issues to look for and how to tell if its a G1 or G2.
I have a new commander and know enough to get in trouble but know very little about the outlanders. I don’t want to invest the cash without knowing what I can. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Stock primary rollers

Stock rollers finally flat spotted. 8500KMs. Would love to buy a QSC but $ is tight right now with my new 30×40 garage project. $70 for new rollers, grease one way, clean. Runs much better. Smoother, less harsh engagement. I’ve had the cover off 6 times or so. 3Xs to disassemble/ check. First time there’s an issue. First time to grease one way too. What a diff in shifting, butter! Rest of clutch is well within specs.
