I am new to this site and don’t even know if I am in right place, but, I recently got a 1990 Honda foutrax and need info on rear brakes. The butterfly nuts seem to be adjusted all the way in, but still no brakes. The guy I got it from said pads were good? Is there any way of adjusting whole drum prior to adjustment from butterfly nuts?

The other day I was taking the rear brake caliper off my 1987 TRX250x to put new o-rings in since it was leaking. Well, I dropped the darn thing and broke the parking Brake! I’ve tried ordering one from 3 different on-line retailers but they all refund me saying it’s not available. The part is "Honda 43360-HC0-006 BRAKE, PARKING — BRAKE, PARKING (NISSIN) (Honda Code 2517308)". and can be seen at:
I’m the high bidder on an entire caliper on ebay by I might not win. I’m in desperate need of finding a replacement and could use all the help possible.
Looks like the stock 250R arms would be plus 2-1/2 inches wide?
A lot cheaper than new arms, 3-$400 less, but 30 year old ball joints instead of new ones?
How does somebody change the lower ball joint anyway, cut and weld?
You would need new tie rods and ends as well if they didn’t come with, so maybe the new arms aren’t that much more when you add it all up.
I think I could fab a mount for 16 inch shocks pretty easy.
Anybody add some length to a 300 swing arm, how much did you add?
What rear shock did you use with the longer arm?
Anybody on here have a fair 250R front to sell?
Our hot rod 300ex is really fast, but the stock suspension sux.
Thanks for the help, you guys are always great
I have a 92 trx 300 2wd. Had it for many years and it’s been a great ATV, but it hasn’t been ridden much in a few years. Trying to repair/rebuild back to good running condition. Working on the brakes and can’t get the front brake drums off. I’ve removed the cotter pin and the nut and the brake drum doesn’t budge. Anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do to remove the brake drum?

Hello all. I have (2) Rincons-an 04 and an 07. On both machines, the brake lights come on with the front brake handle so I know the bulbs are good. On the 07, the brake light comes on with the foot pedal but not the grip handle. On the 04, the brake light won’t come on with either the foot brake or the grip handle. Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Adding the 2in lift spacer’s and there nothing left in the shocks after removing springs, every sight I look at they want 100-400 for the shocks with springs I just need the shocks! Any body know where I can get them cheaper then that or the dealer hell truck shocks are cheaper then that, or should I get the high lift springs and use the stock shocks that are dead?? In need of help in Wisconsin.
