I just bought a new sportsman 570 and want to replace the stock tires. It has 25 inch tires on 12 inch rims. I just wanted to get some opinions on what to get and what size, I am planning on running the new tires on the stock rims. I would like to go bigger than the 25 inch stock tires, but I do not want to have to put in a clutch kit. Any input would be much appreciated.

rim offset question
Hey guys! I bought a 2013 Polaris 550 EPS a few months back and now have begun researching tires like a mad man. I was wondering, when looking at rims, what does the 4+3, etc mean. I am toying with the idea of running 9" wide tires on front and back so that I could rotate them. I don’t know if I would need new rims to pull this off or not. I heard someone mention that they did this. Is the 4+3 something to do with getting more width in the front to clear the fenders? I wouldn’t mind going to a 27" tire but am ok with staying at 26". Anyone with experience as to what will fit or what offset I need (if necessary) please chime in. Clearly I’m kinda lost in all the info! Any bits of knowledge appreciated!
Looking for new shoes, or tires.
Figure my 3500kms on road have worn my stock treads down enough so i’m looking for something new. Looking for tires with good traction in mud & snow(lots) but something that will ride well on the trail as well.
I was told to look at mud lites, and i’m liking the XTR’s, but haven’t heard many opinions on them. I also like the AMS Radial Pro’s, but would likely get these as as a second set as I do a lot of road and hard pack trail riding.
Really just looking for your opinions on tires for mud/snow, what you guys use. I’m sticking with 26" and hoping for under $170/tire CAD. Might plow with them also, but not 100%
Thanks in Advance,

2011 550 xp stock width
New to polaris and I have a coupla questions. First, a bit of a set up for my problem. Recently bought the Polaris from a guy at work, pretty much stock, low miles/hours. Bought it for a hunting rig, not a looking to mud crawl or mountain climb. Original tires and rims. I have the wheeler, so I needed a trailer. Found a killer deal on wheeler tilt trailer, 100$, so that is taken care of. The trailer is 48 x 84 inches. Recently got a new hunting lease and the terrain is rough. These tires are in danger of puncturing at any time I am off the road. So, I need some better tires, looking at the Bearclaw HTR’s. However, I am wanting to go with a narrower rear tire for a little room on the trailer, back tires now are up against the rails on the trailer, so I cant go with a wider than stock rear tire. What I would like to do is find a steel wheel that is about the stock size of the front rim, buy four of them and then get four of the bear claw HTR’s that fit the front and put them all the way around. Also want to stay at stock 26 height. Any ideas?
I have been trying to find a set of the front rims for the 550XP and just use the stock rims, but they seem to be rare, no luck yet. So, it seems that I will need to buy some aftermarket rims. But, I havent got a clue what will work on this machine, and still keep the width under 48 inches.
