Battery upgrade for accessories sportsman 570

Hi, I am looking for some advise on batteries. I have a 2015 sportsman 570 w/ESP.
Ive had the machine for a few months now and love it. I installed a marine grade stereo with handlebar controller, as well as some additional lights. Two
PIAA 55w headlamps on the front bumper and one Generic 50w headlamp that i tucked up under the trunk for a reverse light. (skipped the in depth relay route and just installed a micro push button switch on the inside of the shifter knob) Anyway without a backup pull start im afraid to run much of anything for more than a minute without the engine running cause my display cluster constantly reads low battery voltage.

My question is this. I decided to upgrade to a deeper cell glass mat battery and would like to get a bigger one then the machine is designed for such as a 16 as opposed to the 14 that came with it. If I do this could I cause any harm to my machine and will my stator be able to efficiently and fully recharge/tend the bigger battery ??

If anyone knows more able these charging systems or could help that would be awesome ! …. ( I do know i may need to modify the mounting area to hold the physically bigger battery but thats no prob)…. THANKS

Riccochet Works!

For all who may doubt the value. I did a day ride with a buddy, and when we got back to the truck at the end of the ride, he asked what I had done to the front of my machine……? UHH…I dunno, what do you mean..

Oh…..That!!!

Hmm…I don’t know when I did that, but I’m glad the Armour did its job!!

Basket Cover Ideas

I bought and installed a generic front basket on my machine $45. I painted it first then used hd black zip ties to secure it. I needed the basket for all my camera and research gear, anyway I got to thinking what if it rains when I’m out there.

I could just use a large trash bag but I’d rather have something like a waterproof stretchy cover that’s premade for it. I couldn’t find anything premade, so I looked at outdoor type furniture covers and found something close but I’m wondering if anyone has a better idea or knows of something made exactly for this? Anyone? The basket is your typical 37" x 17" x 5"

The idea was not to pay the cost of a waterproof case that’s made for it. I just need a cover.

Head Light Plug

I have a 2015 Sportsman 570 and I’m looking for a male plug for the female hi beam plug.

I have a sound tube in the front which makes my hi beam useless. I want to use the existing wiring and existing hi beam switch to control a 9 inch L.E.D. light.

If anyone knows of a source for this male plug I would much appreciate knowing where to get it.
