Hi all. Just got back from Hayward and found out that there are now routes thru the town that connect to the trail systems in the area. We stayed at Americas Best motel and we were able to ride right from the parking lot to the LCO casino and all of the connecting trails. I thought I’d have to trailer to the casino until I found this map.
Rode up to Seeley for lunch and got a new area map from them and then rode to Hayward Powersports and picked up a different map from them. On 2nd day we hit the Dead Horse and had a ball. Great weather and fun trails. Can’t beat that.
My wife and I are headed to Marysvale UT in about a week to ride the Paiute trails. We are staying in Marysvale so all of our rides start and end there. This is our first time riding there, so I was hoping to get some input from guys that have been there. Are there any "must see" trails that I should hit ? I want to keep everything as a day ride from Marysvale, leave in the morning and be back in the evening if possible. I have two full days of riding to do. Any input will be much appreciated. I have everything I need for supplies, and the bikes are ready to go. I have a trail map and guide book, so I’m set there… Thank You for any input.

First time here and I see atvs on the shoulders of township, county, state and US highways. My review of the DNR rules for 2014-2015 indicates you can only ride on roads when:
You may operate an off-highway vehicle on a bridge, a roadway shoulder, or the inside bank of a public road right-of-way if necessary to avoid
obstructions to travel or environmentally sensitive areas. You must remain
in the farthest right-hand lane, enter the roadway within 100 feet of the
bridge, obstacle, or area, and make the crossing without delay.
A person with a valid driver’s license may operate an ATV on the far right-hand side of a township road, unless prohibited by local regulations. If
traveling at a slower speed than other traffic on the township road, the ATV
should be driven as close as practical to the right-hand edge of the road.
We really need to ride on US 169 to get where we want to ride tomorrow. There is so much water in the ditches it is an obstruction to travel. Does that make it ok to ride on the shoulder of the road? Thanks for any help MN riders can provide.
I am new to Alaska and to the Matsu valley. I really want to go riding my sidexside. However, not every trail allows ATVs and not many websites with info. Can anyone recommend some places in the area?
I have been to the Knik glacier and to Kings River ones…any other ones?
