I can see beadlocks have 2 advantages
1. Easily mount/dismount your own tires
2. Don’t have to worry about tire coming off of bead..
Are they worth the extra 200 to 300 more then regular wheels?

I understand the bolt pattern is 4×137. ‘i took some measurements my self and they came out to be closer to 136mm not 137mm.
Can anyone show me or tell me what they are running on the factory xxc beadlocks. the spacers i ordered fir the drive flange no problem but would not fit the wheel at all.
ATV engineering have outstanding customer service by the way. Both Nick and Karl were very helpful in the return of my purchase.
Thanks David

Just like everyone, this bike can do it all, and we all are looking for the perfect tire…unfortunately, it doesn’t exist…at least not for me.
I have 2 sets of tires I switch out depending on where I’m riding.
Currently I use the stock tires for fast trail riding in sugar sand and hard packed….they are super light weight and 4ply? I don’t have much faith in their durability so thats why they are my sand tire.
My go to set of tires are the Pitbull Growlers 26.5 S/W….these tires are in my opinion, the best of everything. They are 8 ply, which makes them pretty much bullet proof. The tread sticks to everything…Rocky terrain, sand, light-medium mud, pretty much every type of riding. In mud, a little throttle clears them out and you keep going….flings mud EVERYWHERE!! lol
The cons to this tire is that it’s a heavy tire and it would be too heavy if you needed to go larger. I have them mounted on a lightweight set of hyper rims to help balance the weight of them. I love this tire but they aren’t a primary mud tire!
This leads me into the third set… Outback Max tires. I was looking for a extreme mud tire (2" depth) that would still be smooth on the trails. I was back and fourth between Outlaws, Outlaws 2, Silverbacks, Intimidators.
My renegade is stock height and I didn’t want to have to cut and trip floor boards so I went with the new 28" version. The 28" version was also the lightest which I figured would be less wear and tear on my axles etc.
Unfortunately, I feel like I’m buying this tire in the blind as there are not many reviews on this tire. I’ve found a few on SXS’s but nothing on a stock renegade. I’m going to a mud park next month and I’ll be sure to do a full review.
Here are a couple links of pictures I found on the Catvos.com site of a renegade with the Outback Max tires. What do you think?
2 reasons, bigger size for more ground clearance and to give my 30" backs to the wife for her xmr. Also I go through a lot of nasty stuff and the few times I been stuck was cause the backs just dig down and wouldn’t pull me out. But they climb great, and pull good.
I was originally just gonna get 32" backs or 29.5 ol2.. these seem to be most suggested and favorited on the web. Down side is the added weight of the ol2.. then I seen the 32 ol2. Drool all over my computer. But I bet they won’t clear. It would be nice if they would..
Looked at moto monsters, seem like a silverback copy. Monster mayhems, but look like over sized mudzillas. Everyone I meet that has terms on a canam, wants to switch to ol2 or mudder inlaws…
Like I said, want more ground clearance, that will pull hard in mud, tires that won’t dig too bad, and won’t kill a lot of power due to the extra weight.

I just picked a brand new set of xxc 2013 beadlocks I’m gonna run on my 2010 outlander. I’ve read the wheels are 8×12 and 10×12. My question to everyone is can I run a Silverback that’s 30×10-12 all the way around and be ok or do I need to run an outlaw s/w 29.5×10-12/29.5x12x12.
I’d rather run the 10 wides but I’m not sure how the are going to look on the back being a wider rim than the front. Any info would help for sure!
Thanks
Well…going a different route. I am picking up a new 2016 XMR 1000 and will turning it into a trail machine. It has features I wanted. Those 30" Silverbacks are not one.
Anyway. I am thinking about offing the tires and putting some trail tires on these 14" rims. I love the hookup I have got from Terracross in the past but hear a lot of praise about these Bearclaws too. I am not worried about any side puncturing on the Terracross.
These will be for technical stuff, fast and slow trails, some friendly drag racing, and a little mud here and there. I will get a separate set of mud tires later.
I would like to hear from some that have had both if possible. I’ve read up a lot already about the HTR’s on these Outtys. I just don’t know how they can hook or ride compared to a Terracross.
