have a new fully charge battery on my 2006 Polaris 500 FI and I have no power to my machine. no power to my key switch, no power to my kill switch, no power to the ECM as well. My guess would be that Power control module?
anyone have this problem? I also open that module to see if it has any corrosion on it and it don’t.
93 trail boss hour meter does not work. the meter has 2 wires. red w/white stripe and a brown wire. i assume red is positive and brown is ground. the red is connected to the harness but the brown was dangling. can the brown be connected to the chassis or does it need to be connected in the harness somewhere? thanks.
When I replace or just check my belt on my 14 Sportsman 400 should I replace the seal for the clutch cover? I’ve never had issues with water just don’t know how good that seal actually is. Any ideas? Thanks in advance…
My dads scrambler 400 (1996 I believe) is having an issue. When he hits the starter button he just gets a "click". He says the battery is ok.
It starts fine with the pull starter.
hello all,im new here. I have a problem I cant solve.ive had this wheeler for about 4 years. ive put a lot of money in it and have had nothing but problems with it.i use it mostly for work,but nothing it shouldn’t be used for. so when its down im kind of screwed. I have replaced: ignition system(common problem I bought the conversion kit),two starters, very expensive battery and as of this past couple weeks a brand new carb and a brand new intake. The latest problem started about a month ago. Boggs and dies if I throttle up. Runs ok with choke on.pulled carb to clean. Still doing it.figured I missed something. Pulled carb and cleaned again. Still doing it.bought new carb.still doing it. noticed a crack in the rubber intake. Replaced that. Still doing it. gas is dripping from the bowl and when I throttle up I get a mist blowing back out of the carb.common sense tells me I need to adjust the floats for the dripping gas problem but the carb manufacturer says if I take the bowl off I void any warranty??so I figured they must come pre set?as before, if I pull the choke all the way out,it will throttle up and run ok.ive adjusted my idle high, low, and all over and no help.im not sure whats going on here but since it was doing the same thing before,im not sure its the carb anymore.what if anything else could it be?really hate taking it to a shop but may have no choice. thanks in advance, mike

Used XP axle, rust, crud and missing boot clamps $169.00 what a deal.
Used front rack off a flipped 850, all gouged up but only one small crack $139.00
Used front storage box for 550 850 XP filthy inside full of mud and crap. One broken rubber latch, great deal at 230 bucks. New $169.00
New plastic gas cap, 24 bucks plus shipping. 19.95 at dealer. I just bought one.

Hi, my first post here. Short story, visiting my 75 yr old mom. She uses(d) an xpress to do farm chores and check cattle. Just before leaving for home my girlfriends daughter jumped on the atv and ran it into a tree at high speed. I ordered a used frame off ebay and the parts to get it going again ie wheel, tire. strut, a arm, exhaust . I had some time as Rebekah is still in the hospital. Ive got all assembled but when getting to the end and connecting the wiring I noticed the wires on the cdi dont match the schematics I was able to find online. The schematics has a blue wire connecting the coil and the cdi. the cdi wires match the schematic except theres a black/yellow instead of blue. No spark with black/yellow connected to the coil. The numbers on the cdi unit match the ones in the book. (also managed to find the polaris atv service manual for that year). Anybody know where that black yellow wire is supposed to go? Everything else seems to work in the electrical matching the board diagram to wires color. Im stumped,,, Thanks…
Here is the part which causes noise in the gearbox. Can you help me with the name of this part and its original number. The quad is 550 sportsman 2010.
