So I need help either winning or losing a bet with my buddy. Can you replace the primary clutch assy on a 250 Trail Boss 4X4 with one off of a Trail Boss 350? I am thinking no because of the engine size difference but my buddy says yes you can, that "size doesn’t matter":ditsch:

I recently installed yet another starter and bendex in my 08 500 efi. This one went too because it only clicks when you try to turn it over. I also have a problem with something drawing too much power cause my brand new battery isn’t holding a charge. Suggestions?

I installed the new starter in my 1996 scrambler 4×4 but it’s still kinda wonky. The bendix gear was kinda rusty and crusty and I think that might be my problem now. So I’m going to order a new bendix.

My question is should I grease the bendix before installation? If so, what kind of grease or oil should I use?

Just picked up an 03 Polaris 700 to replace the 04 I totaled a month ago. It rides decently and runs/idles right but it does not like to go into High gear, it grinds and won’t engage most of the time, sometimes will engage if you get it moving in in low then push it into high, and sometimes will engage if you push the shifter forward hard, and sometimes it works fine. I’m going to be tearing into it this weekend and need some ideas where to start. Has 446 hours and 2314 miles, don’t know the age of the belt. Any help you guys can give me is much appreciated, hope its not about to blow up on me lol

I rebuilt the carb with kit and set everything to stock specifications. It runs great, starts and idles like a dream, but when i give it the beans it acts like its rich/bogs. I can get it up to around 20mph before it starts having a problem. I’m wondering if maybe the slide isn’t opening but I dont think it would allow me to even go 1/2 throttle if the slide wasn’t opening at all. If I’m at a stand still and pin it, its not bad off line but after 1/2 secs at wot it bogs. iv heard of the speed limiter going out but its doesn’t seem electrical. If its in neutral and I rev it, it has good throttle response and appears to be fine. what are your thoughts? Ill post a vids tomorrow. Chas

Hello All. New here and hoping you guys can help. Had to pull the rear axle out of my son’s predator due to a broken weld and discovered that both bearings are bad. I have it completely disassembled but cannot figure out how the bearings come out. I am assuming that the axle needs to be pressed out from one side or the other but don’t want to put it in a press without knowing. Thx in advance. Also the best place to purchase a new set of bearings & seals.

I know i know beat to death thread but it’s something to talk about. Now unless my Amsoil guy comes through for me on the lower cost end (has in the past). I have two options here for 5w50 oil. There is Motomaster Formula 1 synthetic in 5L jugs and Castrol Syntec in 1 litre. Anyone use these oils?
