Polaris has used the same connectors all the way up to the new 2016 700. The connectors are melted and worn out causing power loss to ignition/lights/CPU, ETC. Trying to Find Replacement connectors. Any one know aftermarket replacements?
I been doing some maintenance and I thought I would check and change filter but it doesn’t say anything in my manual. I found this under the left front fender,is it the filter.
I have a Polaris trail boss 350l 4×4, 1993
I’m rebuilding the engine, and want to mix the oil, because I don’t want to rebuild it again. Is there any reason I should not bypass the oil pump, if not, where can I find the kit, thanks, jim

I’m at my wits end… I have 06 sportsman 450. Battery light flashing so I put on volt meter and getting overcharge (up to 18v @3000 rpm). I have new battery in it and just replaced ecm today. Put in new ecm and SAME DAMN THING!
If i put on lights it brings voltage down to 12+, likely because lights are bleeding off excess voltage. However, the voltage jumps around a bit from 10-13 volts with lights on.
The voltage regulator on these are built into the ecm so thats why I changed it out. The one I just installed is brand new and the one I replaced was just put in on recall in August 2015 (very low hours on it).
What else could be causing this? I cleaned all the grounds, and I visually inspected stator through flywheel when I had recoil cover off for rope repair.
