Hey guys I’m thinking about buying a motor from a guy at a local shop.
He says the motor is pristine and has 23hrs on it.
It came in for warranty work and they decided to swap the whole motor instead of fixing it.
My question to you is that he is telling me it came in running and the only thing that was wrong with it was the keyway in the flywheel was sheared and that all I would have to do is swap my flywheel and keyway over from my existing motor.
Is there any concerns from that keyway breaking mess up internals or should I be fine?
I went trail riding this past weekend and overall I was pretty easy on the machine. It did rain on us a good bit but everything ran really well as normal. I got home the next day and when I fired it up everything seemed normal. I put it in reverse to back of the trailer and as soon as I gave it gas it started dieing out like there was no gas. I finally get it off the trailer and put it in high gear and it does the same thing. It will move but just feet at a time. It idles great and I can rev it up and everything seems normal but as soon as I put it gear and give it has it chokes out. Any ideas
I have a 2002 Polaris 700 Sportsman 4×4 made before 05/2002 and I need somewhere to buy some axles for this ATV..I have 2" of lift and 28" tires..My axles only have 3 1/2" on the spliced end to go into the hub..newer model has 4 1/5" from splined end.I have been told this ATV was only made for 3 months and was made in Mexico..I can provide the vin # if needed.This is a picture of the hu end of my axles..Mine is in the middle and the 2 outter are for an 03 and up.

hi i am looking for a stator and a starter for my 1995 polaris sport 400L and bin looking for them but there are lots of different ones that look nothing a like that say they fit in the quad but i dont know which one will actually fit if someone could find the right parts please give me a link for it

My Atv has recently been over heating and I thought it may be the thermo sensor so I hooked the fan up to the battery just to make sure and it worked so I wired a toggle switch and rewired the fan but it’s still over heating the light is no longer coming on which I knew would happen but I need help on this one any thoughts???
I’ve just rebuilt my engine on a 95 xplorer 400 4×4. Got it all out back together and my drive pulley is rubbing on the clutch cover. I’ve looked on polarisind.com and it shows spacers in between the inner cover and the transmission, I do not remember these being on there when I took it apart and I’m sure I didn’t put any on when I put it back together. Would not having the spacers cause the case to rub? Its rubbing on the front towards the bottom of the cover. I don’t see any laying around that I would’ve forgot, so does anyone know how thick the spacers are? Im sure I can come up with something just don’t know how much is needed. Thanks.
