Hello
Yes, I know that is exist already that topic but no one have SM for this machine. Brand new on ebay costs about 80 – 90$ so pretty much I think. I thought that I could buy one of this and make digital copy (PDF) i then send to you guys (PDF of course). I know that no one knows me here so maybe we could make deal on ebay, i make an auction, you buy, when I receive book I make a scan and send to you.
Of course I will pay for my copy.
What do you think?
On my 500X2 I am having a little coolant gremlin or I think I am. I am not overheating or anything but something just doesn’t seem right. Doesn’t the ATV system work just like a vehicle. When the coolant gets hot and expands it will push some coolant into the bottle then when it cools off it will draw it back in. Isn’t this the way it is suppose to happen. On my X2 it will push coolant into the bottle but will not draw it back out for some reason. I can start the bottle at the minimum and it will push it to the max or a little beyond but not draw it back down to the minimum. I have to draw it back out myself and top the rad back off. I have made sure there are no blockage of the vent hose on top of the cap. Anybody have any ideas if this is right or wrong and do I even have a problem.

Was plowing slowly and rear end locked up, front 4 x 4 works. Freewheeling backwards in all gears including park?? Have seen a lot of posts abou pinion gear nut loosening? I am assuming the pinion gear is in a place to wedge it from rotating one way? Axle shafts removed and same result…………….i dont see a good youtube video on removal of rear diff!? Thanks

Father in laws rig. He said it has been over heating (light came on). I know it has had a small coolant leak for a while, appears to be coming from the left side but I haven’t confirmed that.
I can see through the radiator fins, doesn’t look clogged. This atv doesn’t see mud or rough riding.
I bypassed the thermal switch and the fan came on but it sounded like rocks for bearings. My question is can the bearings be replaced on these motors?
Now I’m not sure if the thermal switch isn’t working or if the other two problems are creating the overheating??

Got a 2008 Sportsman 800. Went in water that was a little too deep. Drained the trans and bike ran perfectly. 20mins later CE light came on. Any recommendations, ideas?
I have a 99 500 sportsman. It has sat for 4 years. 2 years ago I put brand new carb on it. It started and ran well. Then it sat for another two years. I have a strong blue spark. Turns over with starter. Also put on a 12 volt jumper box. Pulled air cleaner and used starting fluid. Doesn’t sound to be firing at all. But defiantly has a strong spark. Starting fluid spray should at least get it to fire for a second I’d think. Any suggestions. Machine has very low hours. Less than 15 hours. Did find clutch cover full of mice nest. No evidence of chewed wires. ??????
Anyone have any tricks / techniques to disassemble the secondary clutch without buying a special tool to compress the spring? I’m installing a QSC kit in my 2010 550 XP.
