when I take off from a dead stop the front end of the bike hobbles and skips, any ideas what could be the cause? thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is a belt or clutch issue, I did go through some water about 45 mins later my wheeler would go into hi low and reverse but won’t move.
You can see the shaft turning all the way to the front tires, but no movement.

Hey guys I got a ? i hit a log on my new 850 and bent the two steel supports for my footrest. I see they are welded in place anyone know where to get a replacement or aftermarket? Thanks

So here’s what I have going on. I just installed lift kit and bushings on my father’s 2012 sportsman…while doing so rear axle pulled out at inner cv joint…took boot off and the clip that holds the shaft in was not where it was supposed to be. Ended up just replacing whole inner joint after using slide hammer to get old cup out. So I got that all together and my brother in law who has same model and year said he needed new bushings. Went over there today to check it out and both rear side clips must have fallen out before I started or while I was working on it. Is this a common issue with the sportsman? I put the joints back together and replaces the clip and now I’m trying to get boot clamps back on while axle is in machine…not fun. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if I’m doing something wrong. Sorry for the long post.

The check engine light came on and said the throttle sensor was out of range, the code was 0520194/2, I then looked around the engine and saw oil and coolant leaking out of the gasket just above the Polaris sticker. I then checked the oil and saw it was foamy and the coolant was murky. There’s only 5 hours on the new oil change I run 5w-50 full synthetic castrol, it has 28in tires and a uni filter, there’s 2000km’s on it. My questions.
-how do I know if the rest of the engine is OK
-how hard is it to change the head gasket now that I have the gas tank out
-what might have caused this
-could it be any of the things I mentioned above

My Daughters 170 will crank up for about 30 seconds and then just dies. Only 3 months old, been off road but nothing deep. Its EFI so no carb. tried adjusting the throttle no luck. Any suggestions, thank you.

2012 850 Touring and could someone please let me know where my in line fuel filter is? It’s time I replace it.
