I have a 2005 700 that will run fine for 4-5 minutes and then will bog out and almost die but then I shut it off and restart it will run fine for 4-5 minutes and do the same thing. Changed plugs and air filter to no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I took my 04 sportsman 600 twin out last week and when it got hot it quit and dumped gas out into the air intake. I rebuilt the carb today and found the needle and seat worn. When finished, it ran great. As soon as it got hot it started to act like it was fuel starved and quit. Won’t start at all now. Cooling down as I write. Anyone have any suggestions? Plugs are new, when cold it starts fine and revs like a raped ape! When it gets hot, nothing.

Are there aftermarket clutches available for a 2005 Ranger 500 . Mine is shot out and before I replace with a stock clutch want to see what’s available . I need a new exhaust also .

Hi There, I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 6×6, A front wheel bearing went & ruined the Clutch & Electro Plate. I replaced them but it won’t lock in. I have good current to the magnet & it seems to have good strength and the wheel will spin when jacked up until i hold the wheel, then it stops. Got any ideas ??? Thanks " Chuck "

Anyone ever use an occasional bottle of fuel injector cleaner, just for maintenance? I never have but a buddy and I were talking the other day and wondering if it was a good idea on EFI machines.

This thing ugh.when the fan comes on it short cycles.on for 5 seconds then shuts off then repeat.the hot light flashes.now I replaced the sensor in the head.I plugged it in and heated up the sensor with a lighter and it ran forever like it should.put it in and the same thing…..short cycle again.so another thing is the battery is not charging put a meter on it reved it up and no change.the stator is putting out.could only check it at the plug with a test light.my meter sucks.so now what.ecm maybe? Could that be causing both?sorry for the long post.any help would be great.
