Hello everyone I’m a newbie to this form but an experienced Mercedes mechanic. I recently adjusted the valves on my 2013 sportsman 500 HO. When I removed the flywheel engine cover purple AGL looking ATF fluid came out maybe half a cup or so.. I personally didn’t think there were any oils in this area considering the starter and stator are there.. Is this normal? I have the 100$ service Manual and it says nothing about that what so ever. I don’t see how the trans/diff oil circuit would be linked to the flywheel.. It was not engine oil I use the factory oil which is a light brown yellowish in color. I do not have a pull start either. Id like to reassemble it today and go for a ride later on but if I dont figure this out I will have to wait. Of course it’s Sunday and all of the dealers are closed then again trying to get mechanical help from the service department is not always that easy.. Thank you all for the help..

2012 Polaris sportsman 850xp front diff
When I am in 2wd the front end acts like I have the front brakes on, when on gravel the rear wheels spin when driving. And if I let of the gas the front end goes way down and slows me way down like I have hit the front brakes really hard until about 3 mph, then it free rolls. So I put it in 4wd drive and everything is the same except that it tones it down alot, it acts like normal until around 14 mph and then starts slowing me down fast but the front end does not go down like in 2wd and I do not slow down as fast as in 2wd. It is also hard to steer. What could be my problem? I am leaning towards the adc staying engaged or something.
Reverse limiter for 2010 Polaris 500 HO
My reverse limiter is acting up. I hasn’t worked for a while and now when I put it in reverse, the motor dies. If I push the bypass switch, it runs fine.

power steering light/ check engine light
tonight was rideing my ’12 xp850, and at the end of my ride my power steering light came on, along with check engine light, when I slow my rpm’s down both lights go out, and come back on at med rev’s. I put the quad into park and reved up my engine, all seems fine, when in park, only when driving. Any ideas what to look at first?

I have a 2000 magnum 500 4×4. I ordered a new centering spring for the shifter. I have no idea how it goes in. Found the old one at the bottom of the housing bent up.
94 Polaris Trail Boss 350L
I recently purchased a 1994(ish) Polaris Trail Boss 350L and I’ve found that using the gear shifter is quite difficult. It makes a loud grinding sound and often doesn’t actually change to the gear I want (reverse being most apparent). Any tips or repairs would be appreciated!

Winch fuse blows
Have a 2014 sportsman 570… it got flipped over and now when I turn the key to on position the fuse for the winch blows… not great at electrical so any ideas where to start… when it flipped it landed on handlebars so replaced them and few other things….

Removal of Secondary clutch on 2012 Polaris 850 xp
I suspect that one of the rollers has failed inside the secondary clutch on my bike. When I spin it, I can hear something rattling around inside and pretty sure its one of those pesky plastic roller..
So I here is my confusion…. I know that in order to take secondary off you just remove the bolt and pull it off. So how do you keep the secondary from spinning while removing this bolt? Does the drive belt have to be on to provide tension or can it be in gear when doing this? I don’t want to mess something up on the motor / tranny side taking this thing off.
Any input would be great!
