1990 trx 300 2wd

PLEASE could someone assist me in finding test info on Stator and Trigger so I can get my bike to spark. I have had the bike for 12 years and it is in good unmodified cond. I had this problem about 2 years ago. I have a trx 350 wreck thet runs so I swapper both cdi boxes then the coil with no joy. Then after a month or so turned it on and it started instantly. I swapped both cdi boxes back and it still ran fine until about 6 months ago. The bike started fine but reversing out of the shed it would stop seemingly when I turned the bars.Other times it would idle but as soon as I revved it it would stop, turn it off and start it again and instant start but wouldn’t let me rev it until it warmed up a bit and then it was perfect and now it has just lost all spark. I have swapped both boxes again, I have checked the entire loom and bought a new rectifier but still no spark. Next step will be stator and trigger but I have a feeling this is still not the answer. I am a good mechanic but a shitty sparkie so any good advice would be appreciated Thanks

Best theft protection……good nights sleep

Just wanted to share the following. I’m a slow leaner. After 6 months of hiding ATV wheels, pulling battery cables, etc. I decided it would easier to just insure my bikes against theft. For about $10 a month they are both insured. One less thing to worry about. Sleeping great.

Only posting for those on the fence….I spend a lot more than this on parts per month.

Emergency in St Helen michigan

A group of 8 are riding this week in St helen. My wheeler went down and no polaris dealer in 80mis had the part I need in stock and if they order it it won’t be in till after we head home. Today my wife stayed home and let me ride her wheeler. Is there any one in the area that could help us so we could all ride the test of the week. We looked into renting and they want $175 a day and wheeler must be back by 5 pm each day. I’m willing the pay a reasonable amount to rent a wheeler for Thursday Friday Saturday.

Polaris 570 e.f.i 2015

I’ve had this concern since day one, there’s a slight clunking in the rear axles. It seems to be excessive to me and I’ve taken it to the dealer twice to check it out. They reassure me it’s within specs. Is that normal with all 570’s? Your input would be appreciated

2 steps forward 1 step back…how to replace this piece?

Recently did a boot swap on the old 700 Grizz and found a boogered up thread on the top knuckle ball joint.

Can I just order the part and replace this piece myself or does this have to be done by a prof. mechanic? What tool do I use to get it out? Some kind of press maybe?

PS Please excuse my posting this in a non-yamaha forum but as a new guy this topic seems like it might be common to other atvs as well.

Polaris 350l Trailboss

Hello I put a new flywheel on this ATV as the old one was damaged. Flywheel is identical but I don’t think its going all the way up on shaft. There is about 1/8 inch or less I think it needs to go so the elec starter doesn’t disengage too quickly. Can’t figure it so would appreciate any help. 1992 Polaris 350l trailboss.
