2003 Foreman TRX450FM Died While Riding and Won’t Start Now

My son was riding my 2003 450 Foreman and it just died on him while doing about 30mph. Now it won’t start and won’t even pop off. Checked the plug, fuel, air filter, and oil and all seems to be good. Good fire, good fuel, and good air flow. Even took the air filter off and sprayed some starter fluid in the carb and it won’t even so much as pop. Don’t know where to go from here. Any suggestions???

Rear differential fluid looks like mud

The fluid in the rear end looks like mud. I’m thinking the vent tube is clogged. I’ve changed the fluid three times now and it still looks about the same each time I change it. Grey soup. I’m riding dry trails but I don’t know what the history was prior to me buying it just over a week ago.

What do you use to clean it out? I’ve heard riding a few miles with diesel fuel will clean it but maybe there is a better approach.
