First time posting. Tried searching the forum for an answer to my issue but no success. So here it is…
I noticed the other day that the machine had a definite lean to the right. When I got back to the barn I checked the air in the tires and got them up to the same pressure. Looked underneath and there is no damage that I can discern. The machine has 800 miles on it and is just used to get around on our ranch, no abuse, etc.
Anyway I measured from the concrete all four corners of the machine and the entire right side of the machine is 1/2 inch lower than the left. All of the shocks are at the lowest setting. Is there an adjustment to even this thing out? What is likely causing this lean? I talked to the dealer today and his only explanation was to bring it in and they would look at it (only 150 miles round trip).
I am taking a CAD class at a local community college. This class is a part of a larger program for manufacturing tech. I am just doing the CAD and in the spring term the 3D class. (would have been helpful to know this shit BEFORE I started building the workshop!) The instructor is looking for projects the students in his CNC classes to make. I suggested the 1/4" spacers and he was interested. If there is enough interest from the ATV community, he could sell them through Ebay with the proceeds going to the college.
I have a 2001 325 magnum 4×2 with a oil cooled motor I am looking for the temp that the sending unit turns the fan on. Mime doesnt come on if i jumper the
connector the fan runs,so i think the sending unit is bad. Any information is great I dont have a manual I got this atv for nothing from my brother.
ATV was slow to start after pressing the ignition switch and a couple people suggested it may be the battery. I hooked it up to a 12V battery charger in 6A mode (as stated on the battery), and the charge level is jumping all over the place. Does this mean the battery is bad?

I do not have a lot of experience with the various brands of ATV’s. I do know, however, that most of them have a belt-type CVT drive. Honda has gears. I would like to know what is so bad about a belt drive. I assume the drive ratio is controlled by a rocker switch on the handlebar or foot control. Having infinite control of the drive ratio seems like a big advantage. You could fine tune the ratio that you want easily on the go. I have heard it mentioned that the belt does wear out. How big of a problem is this? If it lasts 10 years or so under normal use, that seems acceptable to me, especially if the drive has been designed in such a way that it is not too difficult to change the belt. How well does a belt perform when you are towing a heavy load? Any other advantages or disadvantages?
Hiya men, a TRX 300 owner from the Black Country in the UK here. Gone back to quads after getting rid of the Argo’s.
I’ve ended up with a rotten, but good runner, TRX 300. But, due to severe corrosion there’s no way of reading the vin. This quad has lived outside in the Welsh valleys most of it’s life and now requires the bottom of the frame replacing. Not got a problem with doing this, but, just out of curiosity I would like to know the approximate year of this.
Engine number is TE15E – 8425012 Is there any way of getting a ball park year from this number ?
Really looking for another TRX 350D, one will come along eventually 🙂
Seems to be a popular subject and I think most would be surprised at their results. Everyone seems to think that a 5-10 mph average is extremely slow, but really it’s not. I bet 10-15 mph average is where the largest grouping would be.
Simply divide your miles by the hours on your atv to get your answer. I believe 7.8 mph was my average on my 850. I will have to check my 570 T to see where I’m at with it.
