Looking at a holdover 15 midsized ranger non EPS anything change for 16?

I am currently torn between a 570 eps and a 850 scrambler or sportsman. I do a wide variety of riding from gravel roads, aggressive trail riding/mudding and work around the house like plowing. I currently have a 550 which does good on gas on my trips in Northern Minnesota with friends. Is there a big difference between a 570 and 850 for mpg? I can obviously carry extra fuel. Just curious what people are ACTUALLY getting, not what there specs claim..

Every time my 2011 recon and 2000 foreman hit the mud the brakes fill up with water. I want to know if there is anyway you can seal the front brake drums from water intrusion.

who makes the best replacement front axles, or should i go with a oem part.?
it seems a have a new axle on the bike i just bought but the spleens are really worn out or too loose and creating a big vibration. u can see the play in it, The cv and u joint are tight,
2004 sportsman 500, i’m thinking i have a low quality axle on it ,??????

I’m under the gun to buy a 570 ranger midsized as my dealer only as a few 2015 left in stock. I’ve tried doing some research on the ranger as well as the 570 to make sure it’s going to be a dependable rig for me.

The only thing I really see come up is a problem of people not running them long enough in the winter to burn off the condinsation and then I believe the oil pump will freeze then good by engine! I’m buying this mainly for ice fishing and most my trips are only a few 100 yards long. I’ve heard to just let them idle 20 to 30 min each start up if your just doing short trips. Is this possibly a issue for me and is it more so an issue with the 570? My buddy has issues with blowing the oil tank apart on his 400 sportsman because moisture will freeze in the oil line. My 500 h.O has never had that problem. Also would it be better just to keep it outside in the winter rather then from cold to a heated garage?

Anything else I should know about the 570 it seems to be a good engine. I did hear something about a 500.00 repair on the gear box from a guy that owned a 14 he sold it but the guy that bought it had to do it so I don’t know the details.

Does anyone know of an ATV Ranch where youth can go on an ATV guided adventure? Preferably out West but this is not a must.

My buddy is a director for the Benefit4kids ( B4K.org ), it’s like Make a Wish Foundation but NOT anti-hunting and they only provide Outdoors wishes and adventure for the terminally ill child. They need options for an ATV Adventure location. There is a 12 year old boy who has just such a wish.
