Just got this harness in today…

It’s pulls off 2 power wires from my 12v aux and I’m wondering exactly what would the top two connectors be called…

What would these connectors be called if I walked into my local Radio Shack and tried to describe it to the kid there?

3-point hitch /ATV

How does a three point hitch work out on an ATV , either a 300 Fourtrax 4×4 or a 450 Rancher 4×4 ? , any one with some pics of one ——–was thinking of making the deer food plot a lot nicer with it —— Another project found it’s way to my house , a Craftsman Suburban 15 tractor with a belly mower and 3 attachments for the 3-point hitch on the rear , runs great after cleaning the tank and the carb , I think the engine has been changed out , it has a 16HP B.& S. and only pull starts , you can see it had electric start which is all gone ——— so the plan is , throw a little paint on the hood , besides the hood it is in very good condition for it’s age , it was in a barn and covered with canvas for 20+ years , then sell the tractor and belly pan and ask $300 , paid $200 , keep the hitch and attachments free and make a $100 —– the tractor could never make it to the area of the food plot

Why does the AVT industry not lobby the states for street legal?

What amazes me at least here in Illinois is that no ATV,UTV or SXS is street legal. Some small tows do allow minimal use of them but that is few and far between. The state will not allow the use on them on public roads anyplace in the state. How ever you are required to title, register and insure them. You can’t drive your $10,00, $15,000 or $25,000 machine with power steering, disk brakes, lights, horn, and even seat belts on the street. However you can get a plate for a $600.00 Chinese scooter and drive it where ever you want.

Why are Polaris and the other manufacturers not lobbying the states for street legal? Could you imagine the increase in sales if it was to happen. The golf cart industry is all over it. I don’t buy the argument they are designed for use only off road. The States that do allow them don’t seem to have a problem with safety of the machine it self.

Anyone else have a problem with this?

2015 Sportsman 850 – Have a few questions-HELP! NEW HERE

Hi looking for someone to answer a few questions I have

First time owning my own atv so work with me here lol

1. I’m sure it shouldn’t do this but I’m able to shift between gears with out holding any brake?

2. While slowing down I hear a knock come from the rear is that normal?

3. So I have a brake pad showing half way underneath the caliper on one of the front wheels its also squeaking

4. There is a small tube hanging from underneath the front end with a black hose coupler on the end is that for the over flow drain?

5. I’m installing strobe lights in the rear can I wire the power straight to the battery (of course with a fuse in between)?

6. When should I have the first service done I was told @ 50hrs is that correct?
